Horrible Service & parts bought on Ebay Bought a used car and 30 hours later the check engine light came on. 2 weeks in the shop, poor communication and multiple phone calls with no return b Bought a used car and 30 hours later the check engine light came on. 2 weeks in the shop, poor communication and multiple phone calls with no return back, we find out that the parts ordered came from EBAY!! Only “genuine parts” for new cars that are under warranty by BMW so they cover the expense. Cutting corners to save the dealership! Service is so poor, I don’t know where to start? Lying to customers, resetting check engine lights, without doing the repair work, putting used car on lot without doing repairs that were needed after previous trade-in, no return phone calls, they keep passing you to the next person with no answers. This company does not represent The BMW service we have had in the past. All the preceding reviews before me, are all correct! I concur completely! Go to Naples or Sarasota BMW, or anywhere else, but here. More
BMW Fort Myers Service-Not so much Fact: car was serviced by BMW on April 27, 2018. Oil was changed, leaking coolant hoe was replaced, recall was repaired. Fact: April 30, 2018 the e Fact: car was serviced by BMW on April 27, 2018. Oil was changed, leaking coolant hoe was replaced, recall was repaired. Fact: April 30, 2018 the engine seized Fact: car was towed to BMW Fact: 4 days later I was notified of the seized engine. I was told there was metal shavings in the oil filter. I was told it could have been a faulty fuel injector or broken bearing rod. Fact: at no point in time did BMW ask me what happened during the initial breakdown. Fact: there was no metal shavings in the oil filter. The fuel injectors were in perfect working order. Bearing rod was not broken. Fact: fault codes were never generated by BMW or so they say. Fact: fault codes were generated by a second opinion certified mechanic. Fact: fault codes all pointed to water pump failure. Opinion: very convenient for BMW to not have run the fault codes considering they led directly to a system they worked on just 4 days earlier. Fact: I cannot prove BMW caused the water pump failure. Fact: I can prove that BMW severely misdiagnosed the issue. Fact: I can prove that BMW lied about metal shavings in my oil filter Opinion: BMW service department will never be trusted ever again. Based upon my inquiries around town I am not the only one with these feelings. Fact: BMW confronted with all of the above. Fact: Their response was we don’t care and it really does not matter about the metal flakes. Nor does it matter they misdiagnosed the issue. More

Once BMW of Fort Myers found out it was one of their parts they called the next day up selling me on a good and working ABS pump confirmed after an ABS diagnostics was performed by another/certified shop. Not happy at all I will never return to this location. More

Awful service ends with charging for services not provided. My experience with BMW of Fort Myers service was awful. My service contact/technician was Jose. I brought the car in on an evening when my bra My experience with BMW of Fort Myers service was awful. My service contact/technician was Jose. I brought the car in on an evening when my brakes started squealing. I didn't have an appointment, so they did tell me they'd need to keep the car overnight most likely. I got picked up and everything was fine. I was given some good information regarding oil changes outside of the BMW dealership, and was pretty happy with how things were handled. The lobby looked nice, and Jose was very nice to me. I never heard from them on how much work needed to be done. The next day I missed a call at work which I assumed was Jose trying to get in touch with me to tell me how much things were and to get my permission to go forward. This is where the problems started - I had Jose's business card so I called his number on the card. Over the course of 2 hours I called 6 times, and texted as well (since he had originally texted me). I should have called the main line when he wasn't responding, but I didn't. At 5PM that day I finally got a call from them. Obviously my car wasn't going to be done. No biggie I can swing it for another day. My brakes needed to be done, I needed 2 new tires, and there was a possible oil leak. Only the brakes and tires had an estimate. Next day, and Jose is unreachable again. This is the last day I could deal with being without a car. He again required 6 calls and tons of texts to respond. He did text me me estimates and I told him to replace the tires and the brakes, nothing else. He told me it would be 2 more days before this was done, which brings our total to 5. This seemed a bit long for 2 tires and brakes, but when I asked for a loaner car they did provide that. A KIA soul? Whatever it's a car. I had the rental for the 2 days and I hadn't heard anything, but they rented it from the hertz across the street so I knew they had to turn it back in that day. I tried to contact Jose again unsuccessfully and just made the stupid assumption that my car would be finished in the 2 days they said it it would take. Of course it wasn't done. I was sitting in Jose's office for 10 minutes before someone came in and told me he was gone for the day and my car was not ready. They let me keep the rental. FINALLY on day 6 my car was done with it's MASSIVE (yes that's sarcastic) amount of service done. My total was $964.98 which included a $50 loyalty discount that was applied for (pick your reason from the many above). I was happy this nightmare was over, and that I had my car. It wasn't over. When I got back home I looked at my tires. Only one had been replaced. I grabbed the service invoice, and it very clearly showed 2 tires. The price was $105.60 for one tire, and the "total" was $211.20. It showed $2.50 for tire disposal fee, $5.00 total. $1.00 tire tax, $2.00 total. $4 wheel weights, $8 total for a grand total of $249.19, which added up with my bill properly. I called in to figure out what was going on and Jose said "No we only did one tire you didn't need both done" I said that the invoice, unless I'm reading it wrong (I'm not) clearly charged me for 2. He said "No, that's not right we only charged you for one" When I tried to walk him through the invoice he said he'd have to look it over and call me back. That was 3 hours ago, and I haven not gotten a call. All he has to do is look at an invoice. I am a person that goes to the dealer over a mechanic because I trust them. I trust that BMW would not allow shady practices like this, and I don't have to watch out for what I would normally have to watch out for at a mechanic. This is incorrect as far as BMW of Fort Myers is concerned. Do not trust them. More

Repairs I bought a 2013 335I. CPO. I purchased a road hazard /tire warranty also. The vehicle broke down after a few months. They were great about towing and I bought a 2013 335I. CPO. I purchased a road hazard /tire warranty also. The vehicle broke down after a few months. They were great about towing and fixing the problem at no charge. Then I was told I needed new tires. I asked for the CPO checklist and also about the tire warranty. No one will answer my questions. They sent me a estimate for replacing the tires but forgot to include the price of the actual tires. My next step is to go directly to Sonic corporate. Instead of pushing warranty items they should have put new tires on the vehicle. More
