If you choose to do service at this dealer, I recommend Jose. I bought my car new from BMW of Fort Myers (less than great experience) and had all the service completed under the factory maintenance/warran Jose. Jose is a former BMW technician and knows these cars inside & out. Being a BMW and car nut myself, I found his knowledge of the product he sells and advises on to be a breath of fresh air. In one instance, my batteries needed to be replaced on my key fob - they were $20 for the pair - and not covered under the warranty. I balked at the price since you could buy a pair for $2 at Walgreens and he took them off the bill and ate the cost himself. What a stand up guy. I purchased a vehicle from bmw of ft myers, everything I purchased a vehicle from bmw of ft myers, everything was great until i pull into my own drive way an hr after purchase when i noticed a clunking no I purchased a vehicle from bmw of ft myers, everything was great until i pull into my own drive way an hr after purchase when i noticed a clunking noise. something i find very difficult to believe could be missed during a thorough inspection and test drive, my test drive was short and on a freshly paved road. it may be the ball joints i am told, potentially a costly repair. on top of it i purchased a vehicle from them 3 months ago for 6791 drove and put 2000 miles on, they did give me a fair trade in price i admit (5000)but the next guy will get screwed when they pay their no haggle price of 7991, dont let them fool you when they say that they only profit from their dealer fee. they made out like a bandit on my trade in.and dont forget 1000 more than i paid for it 3 months ago and 2000 miles less, oh and i smoked in it, like a chimney unlike their claim of it being owned by a non smoker AND i was the THIRD owner unlike the advertised 2 owner. they are friendly and helpful dont get me wrong, just keep these things in mind when dealing with them. We recently purchased a used car & when we took it for a test drive it seems like the breaks were very low to me but salesman said they felt fine to him. We also told ua the car had a complete checkup & was ready for the road & safe. When he explained the $699 dealer fee I questioned it & was told all Florida Dealers charge this $699 fee. I paid it but didn't believe it & I checked other dealers & was told the fees run from $0 to whatever they think people will pay but never heard of a $699 dealer fee. On the drive back to Port Charlotte my wife told me it was pulling to the right. I took the car to Complete Auto Repair in Port Charlotte & not only were the breaks bad the ball joints were completely frozen up & not working & was told the front wheel could have fallen off at any time. All tires were thread bare on the inside & not visible just by looking at them without going under the car. All spark plugs had to be replaced as weel as the air cleaner. All injectors had to be cleaned. I had to pay over $1500 to make this car safe & road worthy. The 30 day temporary tag has expired now & have not recieved the plate I paid for. The Dealorship sent me an EMAIL asking how they performed on our sale & I told them the exact same thing & never heard from them again. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN PURCHASING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

This is my fourth BMW I have owned so far and I was interested in trading it in for a 2011 yesterday. But the experience I had yesterday was by far the worst in a long time. Came across as very arroga interested in trading it in for a 2011 yesterday. But the experience I had yesterday was by far the worst in a long time. Came across as very arrogant and condescending and after researching the price for the car I was looking at I also realized it was overinflated and at the same token the price for the trade in was way below blue book....overall very poor experience. I have had multiple bad experiences with this dealer. I first brought my convertable in to get the leak fixed in the roof which was going into the trunk. I showed them where the leak was and told them they could find it with a hose. They replaced the back window, charge me a fortune and it did not fix the leak. The second time they did what I said and fixed the back window leak (replaced the entire roof seal), which caused the front window to leak. They told the 3rd time that I needed an entire new roof, which includes another new rear window and roof seal. Would have been cheaper to do that the first time. Second my speedometer would not work. They had my car for over 2 months and at one point I did not hear from them for 3 weeks until I called them. When the car was finally returned there was a scratch across the hood and soem of the other items were not fixed. They kept it for another week to fix those issues. More
The employees of part department were very unfriendly, worked very slowly. I was order the parts from them and it's took to long to get it from them. They always changed the day of delivery. After being greeted quickly by Barry Marley, we were shown cars that we were shopping for and decided that what we thought we wanted was not really appropriate for us. We were shown the BMW 3 series and decided on a 335d after taking a lengthly test drive and having the features pointed out to us by Barry. We were impressed by how much time was spent with us without some sort of commitment from us to buy. After mentioning that we were being persued by a competitor of theirs they brought in the general manager (not the sales manager) to negotiate the final deal. My wife really beat him up pretty good concerning the price of our trade in but in the end, I think everyone was happy. The car is fabulous and I would not hesitate to buy from them again. More
