If you have an issue they could care and that starts from the top. I had an issue an expressed it to the GM and his attitude was clear that he could care less. I drove an hour and twenty minutes to see a vehicle (after a confirmation email from their employee earlier in the day). I noticed prior to leaving home the vehicle was no longer on their website. I arrive at the location and with a huge grin from the salesman I got a “it’s already sold”. After him being unable to find a 5 series they have at the same price I left and contacted the GM. He basically stated...yeah it happens. They apparently hustle to get the vehicles off their website but don’t share the same respect to contact customers they having driving up to see the vehicle. Not only is it deplorable customer service it’s lack of respect to another person. Take the drive to Myrtle beach where they show their customers respect. More
Excessive charges for small tasks, Florence, SC BMW I would like to complain about my experience at BMW of Florence, SC. I needed a tail light bulb changed. The bulb cost is $5. They wanted to charge me I would like to complain about my experience at BMW of Florence, SC. I needed a tail light bulb changed. The bulb cost is $5. They wanted to charge me $80 labor to change the lightbulb. There were no diagnostics being performed. Just $75 to change a light bulb for the rear tail light. Even though it takes 5 minutes or less to pop in a new bulb, BMW insisted charging 30 minutes labor. Just to be clear, I own 2 BMW's and have owned BMW's for over 20 years. I have replaced many bulbs (not at Florence BMW) over this time. Typical cost is $5 to $10 and have been told on occasion that there is no charge. There is a reason that secondary BMW service shops are flourishing. I will be taking my BMW to them because I want to be treated fairly. I am all in favor of BMW making a fair profit. Charging me 30 minutes labor for popping in a new tail light bulb (5 minutes or less) is not treating your customers fairly. More

The service people left my keys out and did not lock them up for the night. Someone broke in and saw my keys and found my car. It was stolen and not found for a few days. When it was found, it was damaged. One of the managers told me they would give me $5000 to make things right. A week later their corporate attorney sent me a letter stating they were not responsible and would not pay me anything. They never even fixed all of my car damage. More

I took my car to this place. I was told one thing was wrong with my car. I agreed to let them fix it. I picked up my car. No one explained to me what was done. I had to ask questions. Two days later the wrong with my car. I agreed to let them fix it. I picked up my car. No one explained to me what was done. I had to ask questions. Two days later the problem that was suppose to be fixed had started again. I called and was told maybe the anti freeze was not put in the car. I put some in and drove for another week only to find my car broke down again. May 31st paid 2180, June 9th car broke down. I called them and was told they would call back me back after they find out if it could be towed. Ok, so they towed it. I am told NOW the radiator has a crack and it will be another 2000.00. But the biggest problem, and what leads to this review is when my car was picked up. The mechanic calls me and says the car is skipping like the engine is gone so I call back to BMW of Florence. I am told there were no notes written (Tabatha) but the mechanic says yes there maybe engine damage but there is no way to know until the radiator is fixed. Do you know what that means? I would have given them another 2000.00 and its possible the engine is blown!!!! These people are unreal. Tabatha never ever mentioned that to me, never. I told the lady I spoke to that I was going to write a review and let people know how bad my experience was and I plan to keep my word. I would not recommend anyone to go to these people. And I must mention I called the service manager twice and he never bothered to call me instead he emailed me. Too bad I could not have emailed my 2180.00. One last thing the courtesy car wash they put on my receipt never happened. More
I am a return customer. These folks do what they say and say what they do, not all dealerships do that today. I have also used the service department, they do a great job; all in all, this is a very profess say what they do, not all dealerships do that today. I did an Internet search for pre-owned BMW 528's and found one that interested me @ Imports. Sent email requesting more info - no response. Called dealer the next week and salesperson was courteous, b found one that interested me @ Imports. Sent email requesting more info - no response. Called dealer the next week and salesperson was courteous, but clueless on vehicle options, etc. Was put on hold three times and then referred to Theresa (sales mgr) who could not take my call - was promised she'd call me within 30 minutes. Still waiting on that call. Called again the next day and talked with another sales lady, who put me on hold several times before referring me to Theresa, who was busy and could not take my call. Then referred to Greg, who was nice and generally helpful. He promised to get back to me later that day with maintenance record and loan rates info - still waiting on that return call. While the sales personnel are friendly, they are not well-informed and do not follow-up on returning calls. I was put on hold at least 6-7 times for several minutes on several of those calls. I never got an answer to my question about why the vehicle could not be certified since it met the year/mileage qualifications - I was concerned about the total lack of maintenance records absent from the Carfax. The only answer I received regarding the vehicle not being certified was to keep the cost down and thereby save me money. Not calling them again and won't be driving across the State to see the car because the sales personnel were so disorganized, failed to follow-up as promised, and lack of confidence in the answers I was given. Too bad, really was interested in their car. More
After working with "super-friendly" salesperson for several months and agreeing to an out-the-door price of a used vehicle, that price was not honored when I arrived at the dealership to purchase the several months and agreeing to an out-the-door price of a used vehicle, that price was not honored when I arrived at the dealership to purchase the vehicle. Both the salesman and the finance person were aware that the car would be registered in another state prior to the price agreement as there was discussion regarding the topic, yet upon filling out the paperwork, both claimed they didn't know the vehicle would be registered in a neighboring state where the tax was higher. The salesman had a copy of my driver's license for 3 months and had already discussed this issue on several occasions. When I stated that I expected them to honor the price they had agreed to both verbally and on a purchase contract, both refused to do so. More
