WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE Just want to share my worst experience with one of your service dealership Date: 11/16/2016 ZERO STAR(s) All I can say is I WISH ERHARD BMW OF F Just want to share my worst experience with one of your service dealership Date: 11/16/2016 ZERO STAR(s) All I can say is I WISH ERHARD BMW OF FARMINGTON HILLS was not the only service dealership close to where I live. There I have received the WORST customer Service ever (). I understand if it happened to anyone who is a difficult customer but I am certainly not one of them instead I am there BMW Platinum Member. It happened to me multiple times now, when I went in to get my car washes, Oil changes & get treated like CRAP by the service reps. I had to walk out to the service desk to realize that my car is ready and I was only wasting my time & waiting in the sitting area. I bet this never happened to anyone at any car dealership. Imagine after eating all that continious bad behavior today from the service rep, you paid the bill, came to pick up your car & you sat in & start your car and get HONKED by the service rep & aggressively revving the engine to move your car. (Like literally in 30-40 sec). At the first you will think that he might have to take the car out as well but only when you realize that as soon as you move out they started giggling & stopped the car at your spot NO RESPECT AT ALL. To the owner who take his/her time to write the response: A small message to you, I read all the bad reviews & your almost same replies to them and was surprised to see that lot of people have shared the same experience as I did. Its such a Shame. Anyways At-least you will not see me or my car at your dealership again. Thank You & Have a Good Day More
X6 5,000 pound paper weight I purchased a certified vehicle from this dealership (BMW X6). And unfortunately have not been satisfied with this purchase. Within the first year I h I purchased a certified vehicle from this dealership (BMW X6). And unfortunately have not been satisfied with this purchase. Within the first year I had engine performance issues, which required sensors to be replaced. And several months later. I had to replace a water pump. I have had constant engine performance issues. In which I was told by this dealership (service department) to review changing the gasoline. After owning this vehicle for a little over 2 years and 2 ½ years remaining on my contract. As I was driving home from work my engine just died. I was informed that my engine had frozen and would need to be replaced at a cost of $21,000.00 dollars. And this dealership also was nice to informed me. That I had purchased a lemon from them. And no one at the dealership or BMW of North America would do anything about it. So, I'm stuck paying $800.00 per month for the next 2 years for a 5,000 pound paper weight. You have been warned. More
They tried to overprice labor and parts. They also lied about service needed for my vehicle. I found out when they quoted me 4200$ for air shock replacement. I called around and got it done for 1200. Stay away from these crooks. Jason in service called me and said, "you have a leak in left rear air shock, but you HAVE to fix both rear air shock you can't just replace one". I told him to hold off on the work needed. I called several other dealers including bmw Bloomfield in which they all said you don't have to replace both. I called Jason back and asked him to repeat what work was needed, he stated again it's going to be 4200 and you have to replace both. I called him out on it. I too him I called around and everyone I spoke to said I did not have to replace both. He replied by saying we recommend it. Wow, what a crook. I took my vehicle there cause I thought they were not the typical service dealers that tried to take your money. I was wrong, I would drive hours to avoid ever going back there again. And no this was not misscommunication, I had him repeat what he told me the first time. Stay away from this dealer but if you must go in for service stay away from Jason. More
We wanted to replace our summer tires with the snow tires for winter. Our service advisor chad rossetter was very inefficient, hard to get hold of and not very professional. They assured us that it will take 2 days to get the tires and get our car equipped with new tires. He kept dragging us for 3 days, refused to give us the fedex tracking number. Everytime we had to call him 3-4 times to get to talk to him. He was either on the phone or with a client which is really hard to believe. AFter leaving a messege he wauld call abck in an hour. Its the 4 th day and we still dont have any news about the tires or the service or any call from chad or any apologies. We have to keep extending the rental day by day (the rental taht we are paying for ourselves). Our contract also says we would get a loaner but we didnt get any and they are not paying for the rental. I understand it a very grey area but the way this was handles was very unpleasant and extremely unprofessional. More
I took my 07 in for service and was very happy with everyone in the department. They fixed everything I asked for including the things I had just mentioned in passing. Not to mention when I asked the service writer how to pair my phone he said "let me have it and I will have it done for you by the time I bring it up." Best service ever! More
I had to take in my BMW to get serviced due to the problems it was having. I had the same problem before, and everytime I go in their, the service department screws something up and their service SUCK problems it was having. I would never recommend them, in fact I would drive 30 miles to another dealership than go to this one right around the corner from where I live. They did not offer me a loaner, I had to ask for one the first time. The next time I went in, the sales man lied to me (I found out later on) that they did not have a loaner. The people who work in service act like they all own the dealership and afford to drive the cars themselves, when realistically, 95% of people who walk in their probably earn 3x what they earn. Next time, I'll be taking my car to a BMW dealership that knows the meaning of real customer service. More
