I am writing to you because your Sales Manager, Enzo Giron, whom I was just on the phone with, is no longer available and per the receptionist, he is gone for the day… 4:16PM on Monday. We had a brief c Giron, whom I was just on the phone with, is no longer available and per the receptionist, he is gone for the day… 4:16PM on Monday. We had a brief conversation where I wanted to explain a few things on my end, as the customer, and well, quite frankly, he was not available to offer any solutions for me, and hung up on me while I was still on the line. Speaking from all of my pleasurable years of experience at BMW, I have to say, that I have never had this issue. Matt was always super gracious and treated clients with respect and value, sadly, this manager did not show me the same, and I am really disappointed. With that aside, what I understand is that immediately after I picked up my vehicle Friday, it was clearly unsafe to drive with the message (attached here – CHASSIS FUNCTION RESTRICTED). The vehicle felt as if I was off roading at 10 MPH. I called the dealership, panicked and with major stress, I could not understand how my car “was ready” and was something I have never felt before. Usually when I pick up my vechile from El Cajon, everything is under control. This did not feel under control. `Your foreman drove it back to the dealership, and said it was fine, there was nothing apparently wrong with it in his opinion, but would keep it over the weekend to see what could (have) been the issue. I am leaning to thinking that the shocks were not recalibrated properly, because it felt as if there were no shocks in the vehicle. Today, I was notified that it appears that a diagnostic is needed to “know more”. I asked my representative is this is something management can take care of in one way or another due to the situation from Friday, and well, honestly, I was not happy…. It just doesn’t make sense to me, that my car was ready to be picked up, and “A Okay”, and now, it isn’t. I further don’t understand when the salespeople tell me that there is something “pinging” that is old from 43,000 miles… I have never had this issue, to my recollection something this serious has not been brought to my attention thru the vehicle message or thru sales. I really don’t understand, how is that possible when I have serviced my vehicle anytime the light indicates to do so? Anyhow, If you can give me a call, I am sure we can come up with a solution. I felt really disrespected with Enzo’s tone, and lack of empathy to what happened to me on Friday. And on top of that, I have been a client so long, servicing my 328, M4 and X6M at your dealership. Honestly, it really made me feel as if I am not a valued client, and quite honestly, I felt discriminated upon for being a woman. I do not think that he would have hung up on a man, and well, to be honest, any client who has spent over $300,000 on vehicles and tens of thousands on service, should be treated as such. More

I've been going to BMW of El Cajon since 2015. I bought two new 7-Series and one new 5-Series from El Cajon. Have also bought two other 7-Series from other dealers. I ended up choosing BMW of El Cajon as m two new 7-Series and one new 5-Series from El Cajon. Have also bought two other 7-Series from other dealers. I ended up choosing BMW of El Cajon as my primary dealership, since the service advisors and sales always took great care of me. Starting with Friedel and then Albi in Sales, they're the best. Unfortunately Friedel in Sales and Matt Moore the service manager left. I had several of their employees complain about the new management to me, when I expressed how I've been noticing a change around the dealership, they ended up leaving the company. That being said, management changed and things have deterred rapidly. I'm constantly in for service, due to the mileage that we put on these vehicles for work and have gotten to know the majority of the staff at El Cajon. Unfortunately, I will have to say this will be my last time going to this dealer for a new car or service. I would highly recommend going to other dealers, if you're in the market for a new vehicle or service. Today, was my last straw. We made an appointment and have the vehicle in for service for November, 11th. The vehicle was in the parking lot without being checked until today. The technician started the vehicle on November 15th, at 8:11 am. I know this because of my dash cam. This caused a loss of income for my business and had to outsource work, if they knew it wouldn't be worked on until November 15th, they should have scheduled the appointment for today. They always used to provide an exact match, another 7-Series, which I could use as a back up vehicle while the vehicle was in service, this way I wouldn't have a loss of income while in service. Unfortunately, the past few years now they only provide you with X1, 3 series, etc. Nothing comparable how they used to. I lost a couple thousand on the vehicle sitting. I spoke with Nick Bertini today, also spoke with him on my previous visit for other issues that occurred on the last visit. On the last visit, they mentioned the part was covered under warranty, when it came time to check out, they tried charging me for it. That time, Nick did take care of it and was hospitable. However, this time was a different scenario. I expressed my issues, about the vehicle and other issues with management. He is the general manager, so probably didn't appreciate my remarks under his management. He went on to say about the hundreds of complaints he is continuously receiving and that his service advisors are being harassed. Pretty much, telling me to get in line with the others. Then told me their business has increased tremendously with their numbers since his new management and the numbers are what talks. He started in El Cajon in 2019. Not very service oriented, nor handling the customers concerns. He did speak with the service advisor Chris Harlan, about only replacing the gasket instead of the cover assembly, that is covered under my warranty. Unfortunately, a lot of these dealers, with previous experience try to not cover work under warranty. That being said, I spoke with several other BMW certified mechanics and provided the notes in the vehicle inspection form. They stated that the gasket could fix the issue, but they did not want to replace the gasket under warranty. They wanted to charge $2,792.89 for this. $303 for the Tank vent valve, etc. I sent my office manager on my behalf to take the vehicle in for service. They provided him with a list of the recommended service, and all was approved, which I would not have approved everything at the time. I got the Engine Air Filter, Micro Filet, Vehicle Check for a total of $910.10 when I only went in for an oil change and to check the emissions/white smoke issue. My vehicle when idling has a bunch of white smoke coming out of the exhaust and starts whistling. This is on a 2019 740i and should be covered under warranty, but once again it's not. Total $4,779.55 to replace all suggestions, but did include the $910.10 above that was already paid. "CALIFORNIA EMISSION WARRANTY PARTS LIST The following components are covered for defects by the California Emission Control System Limited Warranty for a period of 7 years or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first. Gasoline Models: 740i Sedan - Valve Cover Gaskets [Profile Seal for Cylinder Head Cover] " Unfortunately, this will be my last time dealing with this specific dealership, and probably the last BMW I will own. All the vehicle's i've had from BMW always start acting up once it get's up in mileage. I usually purchase around 5 new cars per year, and sell them around 130k miles. I will have to say this will be my last BMW after this dealer and poor workmanship on these cars. It was a nice run while it lasted. More
Hands down the worst customer service experience my husband and I have ever had. My husband took his BMW in to have them check on the air bags and steering wheel buttons not working as well as checking husband and I have ever had. My husband took his BMW in to have them check on the air bags and steering wheel buttons not working as well as checking on a valve that was under warranty. Upon getting his car back the shift gear for the steering wheel had been broken off. Though on the spot the guy who serviced the car showed my husband the pre service photos of it being attached they blamed in my husband claiming it was hanging on by a thread. They lied and said they never took the steering wheel apart when the paper work clearly shows they did. We tried endlessly for them to rectify the situation but were met with intense attitude and aggression. Even though we could prove they were in the wrong my husband was told that they lost a piece to reattach it but were somehow not liable. When we called BMW North America to report it a few times they never returned our calls or assisted us. We went in person to speak with Nick Berinti who is supposed to be the general manager but he was suuuuuper rude to us and when we pointed out discrepancies to him he told us he was going to kick us out of the building. He offered no assistance and admitted no fault. Then a week after getting the car back my husbands brake light out of nowhere goes on. Mind you he had just replaced the brakes a couple months before going to BMW El Cajon. So my husband had a local mechanic look at the car to see what was wrong and the mechanic found that the brake sensor wire had been cut by someone and we know exactly who did it. After reading endless reviews of similar stories on google reviews for BMW El Cajon (check out the endless 1 Star crazy messed up reviews) of people having their cars purposefully broken so that you’ll pay to have these new issues fixed by their location I can say with 100% certainty that this company and whoever is running things are crooooooks. Avoid them like the plague. They are not an actual bmw dealership and are not held to the same standards so please don’t go here. They were awful towards us and made us miss out on our opportunity to Turo our car due to the damage that they did on his vehicle. They should be sued and exposed for who they are.if I could give zero stars I would. Karma is a B More

RUN! Especially if you need service done on your vehicle. They're hustlers & they dont care enough to be thorough in ensuring the work they're performing is accurate and/or covered under warranty. I was swin They're hustlers & they dont care enough to be thorough in ensuring the work they're performing is accurate and/or covered under warranty. I was swindled into paying for services that weren't necessary. They tried to take me for more money by telling me there were things that needed repair that were not covered under my warranty, when in fact they were (Its all about HOW they write it up)!! I made the best decision by taking my vehicle to BMW of San Diego, where they demonstrated excellent customer service from the start. Their service advisor was communicative and explained what was happening from beginning to end. Their technician was patient and worked to find the issues that were going on with my vehicle. At the end, BMW replaced my engine. BMW of El Cajon almost made me lose faith in their brand. BEWARE of this dealer- it was truly a nightmare. More

I brought 1 photo Share review Embed review 11/26/2019 1 photo This dealership is absolute xxxx. They're lying scamming xxxxxxxx! I brought my BMW M235I into this dealership to get diagnosed after my vehicle went into limp mode, I was given a list of repairs totaling over 7000 dollars to replace the fuel injectors I discussed the diagnosis throughly with the service representative and he assured me the repairs listed were the problem with the vehicle. After that devastating news and no money to pay for the repairs. My car sat in my driveway for 6 weeks. I finally saved enough money to have an independent garage repair the vehicle The tech at the new repair station informed me the diagnosis I got from the trust BMW dealership of El Cajon was pathetic! He further elaborated he Truly believed they tried to scam me for repairs that weren't needed. Turns out, all my vehicle needed was spark plugs!! How pathetic ! I called BMW of El Cajon and ask how could they of been so wrong . They had nothing to say but to try blame it on the same diagnostic equipment issued by BMW that the new mechanic uses as well UNREAL!! I informed them the mechanic DID A FUEL INJECTOR TEST and in 15 min knew it was t the injectors. This dealership needs to be investigate! I can only Imagine how many other customer's especially women and young people have been robbed by this dealership!! If u take ur car here for repairs your an absolute MORON!! More
