I had a great experience while bringing my car in for service. Since my car was going to take a couple of hours, a Lyft picked me up and took me back to my hotel. I made an apt at BMW Del Ray to get a recalled airbag replaced on my vehicle. The apt (on May 5) was made over a week in advance. When I arrived there was a line. It took over an hour to be seen even tho replaced on my vehicle. The apt (on May 5) was made over a week in advance. When I arrived there was a line. It took over an hour to be seen even though I had an apt. I was told that the part was not available and they would have to order it even though they knew in advance it was why I was coming and they could have ordered it before or let me know before I came. They told me they would contact me when the part had come in. On May 27 I emailed to check the status because no one had reached out. I received a reply on May 30 saying the part hadn't come in yet. On June 2 I asked for an update. No one replied. On June 21 I asked again for an update. June 22 8AM BMW called and said they had an appointment available and could install the part that day. I made an appointment for 10, waited again for an hour to be seen. Was given a loaner with less than 1/4 tank of gas in it. Called at 3pm for update, no one was available to talk. Asked for manager. Was told manager would call but they never did. I was finally able to pick up the car but the specialist assigned to me was no where to be found. I had reached out to BMW Coconut Creek on June 21 when DelRay did not reply. BMW Coconut Creek said the part could be ordered in 1 to 2 days and installed within 2 hours while I waited. Will be going there next time. More
