Excellent service experience at BMW of Encinitas Service Center! I brought my F80 M3 in for a regular servicing, and to remedy a few issues prior to the vehicle’s factory warranty expiration. My Service A Center! I brought my F80 M3 in for a regular servicing, and to remedy a few issues prior to the vehicle’s factory warranty expiration. My Service Advisor, Mike Voyles, was very understanding when it came to addressing the various issues I brought the F80 in for, and he was very accommodating when it came to caring for my vehicle, ensuring that it was treated as if it were his own. Mike was prompt with any vehicle service updates and was kind enough to provide a loaner car for me on short notice. Ten Star Service from Mike Voyles! **In a related story… I had previously brought my F80 to a different BMW service center in the San Diego area (KM) for a simple tire change, and upon receipt of the vehicle, saw that there was damage to my 666M wheels, in same exact location on each wheel. When I challenged that service center about the damaged wheels, they said it was “impossible that they were responsible for causing the wheel damage.” The damage was only cosmetic, but it was still damage caused by their work. I left that service center and will not return. ** I wanted to share that story for other M enthusiasts in the San Diego area who are looking for a BMW service center which is accountable for their work, and that customers can trust. Look no further than the service center at BMW of Encinitas. Shout out to Bahgdin and Eli for their thorough investigation into an S55 engine-noise gripe, ensuring me that my vehicle is in good working order prior to the expiration of the factory warranty. Too many changes in the office. In past 4 years, every time I go for service new person is working there and the last person left the office. Even the advisor who get my order doesn't feel obligated to s time I go for service new person is working there and the last person left the office. Hoping Carlsbad BMW opens soon- I don’t want to return to Encinitas- over 2 hours and over $300 for an oil change- (yes I had an appointment and I was on time). I asked about an estimate for a scratch on the Encinitas- over 2 hours and over $300 for an oil change- (yes I had an appointment and I was on time). I asked about an estimate for a scratch on the car , at first he didn’t see the ding- I pointed it out and his response was “that’s not under warranty” ??? I asked for the estimate again - he said, “sure no problem”. Problem - after the over 2 hours I was waiting there I approached him to check the status, “it just came up now” (sure). We review the paperwork, I pay then I ask about the estimate ?? “I will e mail it to this address here…”. “Yah. Ok”. I knew he was not going to e mail it to me and I know I don’t want to return to Encinitas BMW. More
