My X5 was in service an extra day and a half because the service technician broke a part they were replacing. After I picked up and drove the car away one of the lights was still on. I called immediately and found out they failed to complete the service and another part needed to be replaced. I asked they call back with price and time it would take to replace the item. I never received a call back from the the associate who had helped me originally, nor the service manage who I had also left a message for. I will go somewhere else. It should have been completed and addressed the first time I was there. Terrible customer service. More

service personnel very accommodating, but the dealership doesn't have it together. Kept the car for a week to repair wires but total lack of communication. The value service seems to be a great value. I had my spark plugs replaces and now rear brakes, and oil changes. I wish other repairs would be assessed a bit more accurately and more fairly that I had my spark plugs replaces and now rear brakes, and oil changes. I wish other repairs would be assessed a bit more accurately and more fairly that are outside of warranty. The replacement cost quote was only provided verbally and upon more shopping was almost double of what it should cost. So now looking for a qualified mechanic to perform the service. I would rather do all my maintenance here, if there was a bit more transparency on how replacement quotes are put together. Otherwise overall I had a good experience and plan to come back for those value services from BMW. More
With the closing of the Vista and Encinitas service centers, all service has been diverted to the Carlsbad location. This puts a tremendous amount of stress on one location. You can imagine how busy th centers, all service has been diverted to the Carlsbad location. This puts a tremendous amount of stress on one location. You can imagine how busy this place gets. Ramon was the service agent that assisted me and he was awesome. All the parts that were needed for my car were in stock, so I didnt have to wait for parts. The work was completed quickly. I would return to this location for service, but just know that it will be crazy busy. More
Amazing experience! BMW Carlsbad staff is so attentive and caring. They did an excellent job. We got a flat tire traveling to a funeral from out of town and had to get t BMW Carlsbad staff is so attentive and caring. They did an excellent job. We got a flat tire traveling to a funeral from out of town and had to get towed 30 miles to get to them. Not only did the staff replace the tire they got it back to us so we could head home after the services. They truly made a terrible situation tolerable. Thank you so much!!! More
People are usually nice when I have to go in for any service. They really know how to take care of their customers. Just wish I could get a call from them. I highly recommend this dealership. I appreciate you guys getting my car back up and running. It put my faith back into buying the BMW when the motor blew 3 weeks after owning it. The only thing I can complain about is that my service writer told me we were waiting on an approval for a new motor but one day I just got a call saying it was ready. They decided to just replace some parts in the motor and I wish I would’ve known what was going on with an update that they weren’t waiting on the approval of a new motor and instead was going to try and fix the problem when the service writer told me that the motor was shot. More
Went here for my first service appointment. The overall service was poor and did not compare well to other non-luxury brands. Intake and pickup were really slow and the service advisor did not help me troubleshoot the initial issue, basically telling me to call BMW over the phone and ask them instead — Additionally you had to hunt for the service advisor and the rest of the staff weren't helpful in helping you intake or retrieve the car. I do not recommend this service center at this time - The issue has not been resolved and wasted at least two hours during intake and retrieval. More
