I’ve been to multiple BMW dealers (Long Beach, Salt Lake City) and always received professional service. Unfortunately, my experience at BMW Buena Park was the opposite. I booked a diagnostic appointment for 8AM on 9/9/25 (arrived at 8:20). My service advisor, Long Le, was polite but it quickly became clear my service wasn’t a priority. I paid $319 for diagnostics on a check engine light issue and was told it might take overnight. Fair enough. What followed was complete disorganization. No updates all day until I called at 3:38PM, only to be told they were just starting and would need to keep the car. The next morning (9/10), I got a $4,000 repair quote for a valve cover issue—an absurd number later “discounted” by $900 when I declined. The worst part was pickup. Despite multiple texts and calls, I had no clear communication about when my car would be ready. I finally heard back at 3:44PM. When I arrived, staff didn’t know where my car was, told me someone was driving it but “didn’t know who,” and I ended up waiting another hour and a half before receiving my car. Other customers, including one who arrived after me, got their cars first. I finally got mine back at 6PM—unwashed, after being ignored for most of the afternoon. Bottom line: I was overcharged, repeatedly left without updates, and treated with indifference. For a luxury brand, the lack of basic customer service is unacceptable. I’ll never return to this dealership. More

I had a wonderful experience with Samantha. There was no hassel or pressure. She believed in BMW and their cars and was helpful in showing what the X3 could do. I used the Costco Wholesale program to purchase a BMW X3 from BMW of Buena Park. The representative was very patient and kind, explaining the price details and all the features of the car. Very un professional staff, specifically DON VOUNG and little “salesman’s” he grouped up with after verbally attacking a woman that was by herself trying to punk her into a deal she didn’t want WHILE HER little “salesman’s” he grouped up with after verbally attacking a woman that was by herself trying to punk her into a deal she didn’t want WHILE HER BEING IN DISTRESS. During the altercation, DON VOUNG insulted her calling her A “B” word in the showroom that a couple salesman were able to hear from a couple feet away. Very unprofessional especially it being a luxury brand I was surprised to hear that at a BMW store. They racially profiled the woman and humiliated her being by herself and vulnerable. This guy should NOT WORK THERE. CUSTOMERS KEEP THE BUSINESS GOING. I truly wish I could give this dealership 0 stars after hearing that. He has talking to the woman in a strong tone. They also alter credit applications to trick the bank into giving approvals by exaggerating incomes . These type of people don’t care about customer service or their customers they just want to push cars out, financially hurting their customers. After he called the young Lady the “B” word he went into a glass office grouped up with a few employees, seem to have the same ethnic back ground. Laughed and continued to say stuff. Some were sitting down and literally turned the chairs towards the customer to intimidate her. His name is DON VOUNG I was told he was a finance director. With that customer service I do not know how he made it that far. I will be reporting this to the BBB AND DMV. DO NOT SHOP HERE THEY MAKE MINORITIES FEEL LESS AND NOT WELCOMED. THE GENERAL MANAGER NEED TO ADRESS THIS SITUATION BECAUSE ITS UN ACCEPTABLE COMING FROM A LUXURY BRAND!! HE NEEDS TO SWEEP HIS STAFF AND GET NEW ONES.
