I’ve always given BMW Beaumont high marks, which is why this recent experience was so disappointing. My service advisor, Kim, has always been excellent, and this review is not directed at her. She has consistently been professional, communicative, and helpful. My frustration is with the inspection and diagnostic process itself. For the past six years, I’ve trusted BMW Beaumont exclusively for servicing my vehicle because I expected a certain level of expertise and accuracy from a BMW dealership. About a week ago, I brought my vehicle in for a recall appointment and mentioned a noise I wanted inspected. After completing their inspection, I was told they identified the issue, explained that there was a leak, and quoted the repair under warranty. Based on that diagnosis, I scheduled the service appointment. When I brought the vehicle back for the actual repair, I was suddenly told the original diagnosis was wrong. What they previously identified as a leak was now being described as merely a stain, and the “real” issue would require over $10,000 in repairs. That level of misdiagnosis is unacceptable. I understand that issues can sometimes be more complicated than initially expected, but this wasn’t a small adjustment. It was a completely different problem with a drastically different cost. As a customer, how am I supposed to trust the inspections, quotes, or recommendations moving forward when the original diagnosis was so far off? What makes this more frustrating is that had I been told from the beginning that the repair would cost that much, I would have respected the honesty and made my decision accordingly. What I cannot accept is being confidently told one thing after an inspection, only to later hear that the original assessment was incorrect and based on what appears to have been an assumption rather than a proper diagnosis. When I choose BMW service, I expect BMW-level expertise, accuracy, and accountability. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below those expectations. We were in the market for a "new to us" vehicle, and had one from the internet in mind. After that fell through, JASE CALL showed us another one that (at first I was like Nah, that's not for us) well then one from the internet in mind. After that fell through, JASE CALL showed us another one that (at first I was like Nah, that's not for us) well then we drove it, and FELL IN LOVE with it! Jase and his finance team worked hard to get the deal where we needed it. Jase was upfront and honest with us that he had only been selling vehicles for 2 months, We couldn't tell, he was very professional and had a great knowledge of all of the vehicles and was wonderful deal with! I will be sending anyone I know looking for a vehicle his way! We look forward to future dealings with Jase and this dealership! ((maybe next time it'll be a new BMW!) More
