Throughout each service process, their communication has been exemplary, keeping me informed with regular updates through email, phone calls, and text messages. Going above and beyond, they offer conveniences such as car loaners or Lyft rides back to my home or workplace. While acknowledging that dealership servicing might come with a slightly higher cost compared to local options, Motor Werks BMW took the time to sit down with me, exploring various pricing options and demonstrating a flexibility in working with customers. A particularly nice aspect is the comprehensive video report sent via email, where the actual technician working on my car explains any issues uncovered during the initial inspection before work begins. This transparency is not only refreshing but also instills confidence. As a result of my recent visit, I would like to commend two exceptional individuals from their service team, Robert Oberding and Marc Collura. Robert patiently explained processes and pricing details, always steering clear of any pressure tactics for quick decision-making. Following up on their commitment, Marc contacted me to ensure my satisfaction. Despite the scale of this dealership, Motor Werks BMW maintains an environment that feels very much like a family-run business. I've recently heard about the change in ownership at Motor Werks of Barrington. My sincere hope is that the exceptional customer service I've come to appreciate over the years continues under the new management. Worst customer service experience. I need to get a simple question answered. I call for a quote on a 4wheel alignment. I speak to a person who puts me on hold to speak with a servic I need to get a simple question answered. I call for a quote on a 4wheel alignment. I speak to a person who puts me on hold to speak with a service advisor and as per usual over the past 10+ years, no one is available, they want to take a message, I try to leave my question, they just want my name and phone number. No call until next day, they lost my business on that service. I call (4) different numbers for the dealership, all say , "mailbox is full" then hang up. I reluctantly use the chat function. In the end, they are unable to answer my question after answering tons of non valued added questions which yielded zero benefit to me and suggested I wait for a return phone call, so once again, I am asked to provide my name and number to "wait" for a call back. I try the phone numbers provided on the website again, all mailboxes full. I return to chat, I am greeted the exact same way. I ask are you AI / chatbot and am told no, yet I am being asked word for work, all the same questions, of course getting no where. I am then asked for the same contact information as before, which I provide. I then ask can you please call me at the number provided, that is ignored and basically have a nice day, bye. So apparently Motorworks is using a chat bot and to me has abyssmal customer service. More

Angel Rivera called me back within a few minu share my experience. I came to BMW of Barrington after a awful experience with another dealer. Angel Rivera called me back within a few minutes of leaving him a voicemail. He put me in touch with Ryan Durso for extending my warranty and Marc Collura in service. The teamwork between sales, finance and service was exceptional. Angel introduced me to Ryan who thoroughly explained my warranty options. I ended up extending my warranty. Ryan introduced me to Marc in service who went above and beyond to get my car in for service that day. The service team took care of my issue. If BMW is the ultimate driving machine, the team mentioned above is the Ultimate Service Team. If you are looking to buy, lease, or service your vehicle.. look no further. More
Erik is always very busy but always makes sure to make you feel very well taken care of. He keeps me at Motor Works. Sales Dept keeps frustrating me. I could not be more pleased with Victor, I’ve been servicing my cars with him for a few years now. Yes BMW services are expensive but you have the piece of mind that even if they don’t get it right th servicing my cars with him for a few years now. Just outstanding service! We came for the service on our BMW M4 and while talking with Dana and Angel we decided to upgrade our car! The crew is amazing, super friendly and helpful and we ended up driving X BMW M4 and while talking with Dana and Angel we decided to upgrade our car! The crew is amazing, super friendly and helpful and we ended up driving X5 competition. Angel follows up, sent presents for our kids for Christmas, the bmw manager was great as well. Rip off service.
