For a luxury Dealership the purchase and specially the delivery process was very cheap. The purchase experience at GENESIS is top notch, and JM Lexus used to be super and now it’s just ok. I had a great experience purchasing my BMW yesterday. Jason was honest, transparent, and extremely efficient throughout the entire process. Porter was rude when I arrived, I simply asked if I was supposed to leave my car here and the response was (in a very unprofessional tone) "yes, we are very busy today". There were only 2 cars in the port supposed to leave my car here and the response was (in a very unprofessional tone) "yes, we are very busy today". There were only 2 cars in the port, mine and another for 3 porters - hmm The whole Service Advisor sit down is so unnecessary. Dropping off my car for a oil change should not take a half hour. I have brought my car in several times and this is always the case. The SA Juliet Steinberg was great! I made an appointment well in advance and was early by 10 min, It still took over 30 min to leave after drop off. I was told it would not take long and that they would call me when it was done. I waited 2 1/2 hours and called, and was told my car was ready, then I got a text it was ready. I know my car needs tires, I refused the service because you did not have the tires I wanted. Then I get a summary saying I need tires and I need to again, refuse. The 3% for using my credit card is a rip off, You run a very successful dealership and on top of very pricey dealership cost, you add in an additional 3% because you don't want to pay the service fee you are charged for processing...this one really rubs me the wrong way. I do not carry cash anymore and can't remember the last time I wrote a check. You know this, you anticipate this, which is why not only does the SA say it, the cashier says it several times to make sure you don't get upset when the extra is charged to your care...my guess is that you have xxxxxx off a lot of customers that were not told ahead of time, and now you have say it several times so customers don't revolt. Multi-million dollar dealership and can't cover credit card transaction fees? This would steer me away from continuing to take my car here for service in the future. Hopefully you read all of this and address what I have called out in my experience. More
