Our truck was brought in for service. Upon dropping the truck back off to them, I was told that they found the error in the brake system by pulling the code from the computer. After 4 days go by, I call in for an update but unable to get the advisor on the phone. After a week and a half of calling, each time I called in I was told that the service advisor and manager are in a meeting. Exactly 2 weeks to the day, I finally make contact with the service advisor. He tells me, we drove the truck this past Saturday and the tech was not able to find anything wrong with the truck. He proceeded to say that they drove the truck for over a mile and at speeds over 70 and couldn't find an issue. When I asked about the trailer brake system, he now says that they couldn't service it because the code wasn't there. The main issue with all of this is that we are a trucking company and our vehicles are equipped with cameras, GPS units, and other equipment. Our truck wasn't driven 1 time and that was yesterday when I finally spoke with the service advisor and he admitted that he was the one that drove the truck after I spoke with him. The highest speed the truck was driven was 46mph. He wouldn't have been able to diagnose the issue at that speed because it was explained that the vibration happens after 55mph. So yes, you will be lied to and after you call them out on their lie, they don't even have the decency to apologize for their actions or lack thereof More
