I would love the opportunity to thank my salesman ken for an excellent job of earning a lifetime customer as well as all friends and family of mine. His expertise knowledge friendliness courtesy and most of all his ability to win my buisness......I came in 2 weeks prior to buying my vehicle and wasn't very open and was very guarded but ken set the tone was patient and understood in essence setting the time from that point where ever I shopped I could not get his ability out of my mind finding myself constantly comparing every salesman to ken coming up short everytime..sure I love my car and the dealership was a pleasure and other salesman he worked with were very comedic keeping me entertained during my experience. This was the absolute best experience I've had buying a vehicle and would recommend an will be recommending auto world Kia to everyone and anyone. Thank you for a fantastic job by my friends at auto world. Ps the back an forth between sales and management should say as a fun process as ken demonstrated and truly made me understand that just like I was attempting to buy the vehicle at the lowest price possible the dealerships job is to make profit as with all but the very large difference here is Kia and ken in general takes the time to help understand every step of the way not once did I ever feel misled or uncomfortable... My husband Harry and I went into the Kia dealership for service to our 2011 Kia Sorento. While we were waiting we decided to go into the showroom to take a look and see what new models they had. We were im service to our 2011 Kia Sorento. While we were waiting we decided to go into the showroom to take a look and see what new models they had. We were immediately greeted by Eddie Calixto. He was very friendly and personable. Eddie asked us if there was something specific we were looking for so we told him that while we were happy with our Sorento, we were having some issues with it and wanted to know what the new models had to offer. He then asked what sort of issues and my husband told him that the doors kept sticking and the check engine light was on for about a week. My husband told him that he wished Kia would improve the suspension on their vehicles because they do tend to handle the roads a bit rough and that when we first purchased our 2011 Kia Sorento we brought it back to the dealer a couple of times for them to check the suspension. Eddie told him well as a matter of fact that suspension problem has been drastically improved on the 2014 Sorento and proceeded to show us the floor model. I asked about the third row seats because the floor model didn't have one. Eddie told us that he could show us other models that did have a third row seat if we were interested. We said yes and he proceeded to take us outside to the lot to show us what else he had to offer. We looked at a few more models and Eddie asked us if we were interested at all in seeing any Kia Sportages and we said we were open. He told us if we we were interested in any of the models it would not be a problem to take them for a test drive. He especially thought it would be a good idea so that we could see what the difference would be driving a 4 cylinder as opposed to the 6 cylinder we currently had. So we took out the 2014 Sorento and the Sportage for a test drive. We were impressed with the way the vehicles handled the road and realized that the 2014 Kia Sorento really did have a smoother ride and the 4 cylinder did have some pep to it. The entire time we were with Eddie he gave great details about each vehicle he showed us. He was very knowledgable about all the vehicles. He asked us what we were thinking of as far as a down payment. We told him that it all depends on what kind of a deal we can work out. We became very interested very quickly but we told Eddie that if this deal is going to happen we really, really wanted to try to keep the same monthly payments we currently have. He said that it would all depend on the down payment and assured us that he would do his best to get us the best deal possible. He also made us feel very comfortable and informed about the decision we were about to make. He said he wanted to make sure we were happy with our decision. We would like to say Eddie really cares about his clients. He was very patient with us, answered our many, many questions and really helped us make an informed decision. Thank you Eddie for helping us with our new purchase of our 2014 Kia Sorento! You are quite a salesman! More
I have owned quite a few vehicles in my life, and all being Ford vehicles. I was set on purchasing the Ford Fusion, but my family had recommended KIA. I stopped into one KIA Dealership (not East Meadow) being Ford vehicles. I was set on purchasing the Ford Fusion, but my family had recommended KIA. I stopped into one KIA Dealership (not East Meadow) and I was not impressed with the sales approach. As much as I loved the cars, I did not love the Dealership. I happened to be in East Meadow and decided to stop into that KIA Dealership to take another look at a few cars. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for meeting Josh Levin, the Sales Manager Mark, Cindy in Finance (I think that’s her name), and the wonderful Staff in Service. After being a loyal customer to Ford, I am now a loyal customer to KIA 100% because of Josh, Mark, and Cindy. They are what make “Your Brand”! More
I went into AutoWorld Kia to have my 2011 Kia Sportage SX serviced for an oil change. As my lease was coming up in July I had been contacted by the original dealer I leased my vehicle from so I was curious t serviced for an oil change. As my lease was coming up in July I had been contacted by the original dealer I leased my vehicle from so I was curious to see if AutoWorld would give me a similar offer. While I was checking out the newer version of the car I had and also the new Kia Sorento I was approached by Marcel Mumlyn who is a salesperson in the showroom. he asked if I needed any help and when I inquired about terminating my lease early he was eager to assist me naturally because the prospect of a sale was likely of course but while he was eager for the sale he was also very professional and didn't push me one way or the other. I have bought a number of cars over the years so i know the whole haggling / negotiation game so i was not into getting into a whole stressful debate. I just wanted to know what it would cost for me to get into upgrading to the more expensive Sorento and if the numbers were reasonable then I would do the deal. I dont feel Ive ever gotten a great or fantastic deal at any car dealership and at AutoWorld I don't feel that either as I feel it was a good deal (not very good, not great) but what made this experience better for me was the way in which Mr. Mumlyn handled himself. He was eager for the sale, but not eager enough to be pushy but more importantly eager to make sure I was happy by the time I drove off later in the day in my new car. I have read some mixed reviews about this dealership but so far every time I have had my car serviced there it has been a pleasant experience and my first time purchasing a new car there it was definitely a better experience than the last dealership I dealt with. Autoworld Kia would be doing themselves a favor by trying to hold onto Marcel Mumlyn as long as possible. More
Kia East Meadow has a wonderful sales staff. They are not the typical high pressure sales people, in fact they are very low key and they get the job done. My experience began with Ashley Crawley in the Business Development Center. Ms. Crawley would call and keep me updated if any new/used vehicle of interest became available. Ashley is friendly and professional. I am certain that Kia East meadow appreciates the wonderful job she does. Mr. Scott Shellock Ashley’s manger came over to introduce him. Scott was funny and personable. I constantly check their website for inventory. I saw a vehicle I was interested in. Filled out the form on line and received a response within five minutes and a call shortly after from Mr. Tyrone Hudson. Tyrone was courteous, professional and a great help. I had some concerns but, Mr. Hudson reassured me. He did not twist my arm and force me into buying any old piece of junk. He helped me secure a quality vehicle with low mileage and with a substantial warranty. I have had extremely bad experience with other dealers with them it sell…sell without any real concerns for their customers. I highly recommend Kia East Meadow and purchase another vehicle from them. Marcel was courteous and polite from the moment he introduced himself. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles I was interested in. And always treated me with respect. Two weeks ago I bought a used Kia 2010 Forte Sedan and I could not be more pleased with the buying experience. This is my First car purchased from at the Auto World Kia and will not be my the last. I stronger believe that Kia line offers the best value on the market today. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fair price and great buying experience. This dealership culture of customer service to my surprised exceeded my expectations and I am not that easy guy to deal with. I had to come back on the following day to finish Insurance paper work (my fault) and my sales person was off that day, However, another sales person Joshua Levin stepped in and made my second day as pleasant as the first one. He went an extra mile of going over my paper work and answering all my questions. I am very pleased having worked with all three of them. Would strongly recommend this dealer ship to everyone and anyone who is in the marked to get a new or a used car. More

Even after I drove off in my new Optima, he still answers all my questions with a great cheerful attitude. More
