I had been shopping for a pre-owned Acura for several weeks, but wasn't satified with the dealership I was working with. while shopping for a new or used car is exciting, no one that I know realy "likes" to do so. Car salesmen can be very intimidating, appear to be underhanded and sly. He allowed me to take the time I needed to make decisions. He was very upfront and honest. Purchasing a certified pre-owed car from Gary was such a relaxing, calm and friendly experience that I will definitly go back to Acura of Denville. If Gary is off, I will wait for his return. I have also decided that certified pre-owned will be my top choice the next time I am in the market for a vehicle. I purchased an Acura TL. Since it was 3 years old, there were a few scratches and scrapes. I didn't notice most of them. But Gary did. He took it upon himself to schedule the car for minor touch up painting needed. Even some areas that Gary did not see, notably a deep key scratch along the drivers side of the car, were taken care of immediately. Need car mats? Don't even need to ask; they were in the car upon pick up. And you can't beat the low interest rate incentives, extended warrantee and service at Acura of Denville. We have owned 9 Audis, all purchased from the same dealer. When that dealership no longer seemed to appreciate our loyalty, we decided to try an Acura MDX. We leased our first MDX and loved the car. dealer. When that dealership no longer seemed to appreciate our loyalty, we decided to try an Acura MDX. We leased our first MDX and loved the car. Recently, our lease was up and when we visited the dealership found that their customer service was lacking. They tried to pressure us into taking another car from them by telling us that our current car MDX needed expensive repairs but if we bought immediately, they would absorb the cost. We decided to look elsewhere. We found Acura of Denville and started to discuss a deal with them. We were not in a hurry for a car. We liked the way Acura of Denville treated us. They also gave us very fair pricing. After we signed on the deal they delivered our new MDX very well prepared, taught us how to use all the controls and were very patient with us. We appreciated the fact that the Sales Manager came over to meet us and not bludgeon us into signing before we were ready. We also liked that the owner of the dealership came out to say hello and to thank us for doing business with Acura of Denville. He offered his card and promised that we would be happy with their service. We felt comfortable here and felt appreciated. PS: We really love the new MDX! It is a great auto. More
Acura of Denville, is by far one of the most professional, courteous and laid back dealerships in the area. I purchased my certified pre-owned Acura RSX from them, and couldn't be happier with t professional, courteous and laid back dealerships in the area. I purchased my certified pre-owned Acura RSX from them, and couldn't be happier with the process. While searching around for my Acura RSX, I visited quite a few other Acura dealerships before finding my car at Acura of Denville. Other dealerships used car departments were filled with your typical car salesmen. They tried pushing me into a car, with the famous, "what price do I need to give you to buy it today" routine. I was very turned off by them, and felt disrespected. I was very knowledgeable of the car I wanted, along with the certified warranty Acura offers for their certified cars. Lots of salesman at these other dealerships, gave me wrong information, and we're very pushy. One salesperson laughed at what I wanted to spend which was a reasonable offer, than got his manager and said we can do that price, but don't try to haggle me anymore. I just figured this is typical of car dealerships, until I finally met Gary at Acura of Denville. This dealership was the farthest away from me, but boy was it worth it. I found a car listed online that was perfect, low miles, certified and withing my price range. I called, and Gary was very polite, and informed that it was still available, and that I can come at any time. I immediately took a ride out west to see the car. Once arriving, he immediately greeted me outside acknowledging me as a human, unlike other dealerships where you have to wait to be 'picked' to get help. He showed me around the car, the features, a brief history as well as the service that was performed. He was very knowledgeable, and didn't pressure me one bit. I had informed him I had a deposit on another RSX that was cheaper, but wasn't certified, and he quickly price matched this one to meet the offer of the other one. It was at that moment, I knew I had come to the right place. He offered to let me drive the car, by myself, but I quickly declined as I didn't know how to drive manual shift at the time. I brought my father back the next night, and he was just as friendly again. After my father driving the car, and finding nothing wrong with it, we wanted the car, and Gary did his 'honest handshake' that he'd keep the car for us tomorrow when we would come back with the certified check. The next day we came back to my car all prepped and shiny, with the license plates on and everything. We met with Gary one more final time, who reviewed the paperwork, warranty information, and other information. It literally took 20 minutes, and we we're on our way. I can't say enough good things about how laid-back, honest and professional this dealership is. I wish it was closer so I can take my car there for service. I have no problem recommending this dealership to anyone. I met with Gary again when I friend of mine was looking at TSXs, he immediately recognized me, and again was extremely friendly, nice and professional with my friend and me. I highly recommend this dealership if your considering a new or used Acura. They are very knowledgeable, straightforward and professional. I even received a Christmas card from them six months after I purchased my car :) More
