Mr. Anthony, I am sorry that we were unable to work anything out here. I have tried to reach you and offer my assistance numerous times as well as set up a phone call or meeting. Neither of which you nor your son seem interested in doing which begs the question of your motivation for attempting to slam our business online. Unfortunately, I think you entered our dealership with your guard up for no reason. I know that you were not "thrown a plate", that would never happen at our dealership. I think it is more likely that you "pre-judged" our dealership before you even entered. And yes, our style is not to greet our clients when they open the door to get out of their car. That "highway pressure" approach is not a part of our business model nor will it ever be. Our clients have always appreciated the respect we show to a client when they are on our property. It is incorrect however to interpret that respect as being ignored, or even worse, being "pre-judged". In fact, that couldn't be further from the truth. I will also mention that Vinny is an incredibly hard working young salesman who made an honest mistake by typing "Mike" instead of "Matt" on a busy Saturday when he emailed your son to thank him for coming in. It is unfortunate that you have chosen this small mistake to highlight your experience at our dealership because I feel it is an honest mistake and is no way indicative of any "pre-judging" or lack of customer service. I suppose it would have been worse had he chosen not to email your son at all, but he did. Vinny is nothing but an asset to our sales team and a incredibly respectful young man. I have received numerous calls and emails from clients thanking me for having him as part of our team. We certainly understand and respect your decision to call him out on line, but we respectfully disagree with your position. We wish you and your son the best of luck with your new Acura, it is a fantastic car. Congratulations to your son on his first new car purchase! Thank You, Steven Lustig Vice President

Dear Steven, We've had a few exchanges about this so let me clarify: 1. Theola's name is printed correctly an ALL service invoices so I don't know who Thea is. 2. The busy dealership had app TWO customers at the time I was there and clearly outnumbered by the salesmen. 3. I am NOT African American although I can understand how your employees can make that assumption. 4. You could have had that deal if we were treated better. 5. I'm amazed at your resolve given you were not present and I was, and I don't care to hear that your employees will not lie to you. 6. As for what Denville Acura gives to Cancer Society I'm sure the publicity doesn't hurt. 7. I included my telephone # on my first response to you yet every one of your responses after that was telling me how and when I should get in touch with you.
