Dear Mr. Finger, We held up our end of the deal and held the car for 5 days as we both agreed. We are sorry you feel the way you do. However, we wholeheartedly disagree with your point of view, here is why? As a small business with a niche market we have policies in place to protect us and our customers. One in question here is: We do not hold any vehicle in stock without a Minimum $500 deposit for 5 Days and all deposits are Non-Refundable. Most cars in our inventory are unique, and we get customers that travel far to buy from us, we provide the Hold Deposit Service as a courtesy to allow processing time, without the car being sold from under them. Our Policy is clearly posted in our office, where you and your wife visited, on our site, where you personally placed the deposit, and on your receipt issued by the processing center. THE FACTS…. Your email on 12/26/2018 “Im interested in your Subaru BRZIs this a salvage title? Either way can you fill me in on the frame damage? Have a MR2 and looking for a change. Need ti to be a daily driver though. Thanks – Barry”). On 12/28 around noon you called to discuss your concerns, then at ~2 pm you and your wife visited our showroom , and test drove the vehicle. A couple of hours later you called stating you want the car, you are pre-approved by your credit union and asked to leave a deposit to hold it. At 3:46 pm on the 28th I specifically asked you, if Credit Union was aware of the History of the Frame Damage and whether they are ok with it. You said you had told them and given them the VIN number as well for this '14 BRZ and they were ok with it. You wished to have a pre-buy inspection done to satisfy yours and the Credit Unions Concerns. You did not want to use credit unions inspection service since it took longer than you wanted; asked for a nearby reputable ASE CERTIFIED shop acceptable by you and the Credit Union. You called the shop and gave them instructions. On 12/29 at 8:20 we delivered the car to the inspection facility. You Called us at 1:41 pm that the vehicle PASSED with "FLYING COLORS" your exact words and asked us to send to Buyer’s Order to credit union for funding. You scheduled to take delivery for 12/29 Friday evening, then called and changed to Saturday morning. On 12/30 you called asked to hold off till Tuesday because of some issue with your bank which you were assured would undoubtedly be resolved. You also asked how to fill our loan application just in case, because you were buying this car regardless. You also mentioned your wife not being happy with you in that conversation. We accommodated you graciously for five days, turned away other buyers to fulfill our agreement. You called on 01/02/18 while we were personally washing and cleaning the vehicle for delivery to inform us that you changed your mind, after all, with some nonsense made up story. You then turned and threatened us to refund your deposit in a week and insulted us with $100 for our trouble. However the very next day you wrongfully disputed the charges causing our hard earned funds to be frozen by the processing company until investigated. They researched your claim for two weeks. We were asked to provide proof and documents to prove we acted in good faith in providing our services as agreed. The case was decided on 01/15/2018 in our favor. Jan 20th, 2018, we received this Unjust review from you all over the web. Frankly the only thing “Un-American” is this shameful attempt to Smear an honest, hard working business' name and black-mail us for ransom by leaving a bad review and disputing charges you knowingly and willfully authorized. God Bless.
