Found the Honda Pilot on ebay for a great price. Drove 8 hours to get it and it was as nice as it looked in the pictures. The buying process went smoothly and the prices are great. The only drawback was when we called they said it had 4 wheel drive and when we got there discovered it was all wheel drive instead but we went ahead and purchased it and we love our new vehicle. Don't buy from Autos Direct Online! Stay away!!! This Don't buy from Autos Direct Online! Stay away!!! This company's owner SHAWN PAYNE won't even call me back after buying a car! I bought an Axi Don't buy from Autos Direct Online! Stay away!!! This company's owner SHAWN PAYNE won't even call me back after buying a car! I bought an Axiom from DAN CALDWELL at Auto Direct Online. I was told the exterior was excellent condition and there was no rust on the undercarriage. I have a recorded message from DAN CALDWELL that says the underside is fine, no problems. When the car arrived, upon visual inspection we saw the underside of the car had freshly been painted black when the car arrived! And, HOLES in the frame caused by rust. Can you believe it. And, the hood had many small dents caused presumably by hail. The delivery truck driver notated the hail on his paperwork when he picked it up at ADO. But I was told the exterior was in excellent condition of course by DAN CALDWELL.. And now, the owner won't call me back. A isting of the many reasons why we gave them a low rating.. · Two dents on the car along with multiple dings including the car's HAIL DAMAGE! My 15 year old son first noticed it. DAN CALDWELL had told me the exterior was in excellent condition but would have a couple of dings on the car pulled out before delivering the vehicle to me. I understand some may not be able to be pulled out. It is not a new car. Some dings are expected. Again, this was included on the “To Do” list that would be handled prior to delivery of the car. Clearly with all of the dings/hail damage, I should have been told of the condition of the car upon my initial inquiry. · During the discussions and inquiry as to whether I wanted to purchase this car I clearly stated questions of the condition of the undercarriage area. I asked about the undercarriage and specifically asked if there was any rust in the bottom frame of the car from the rear bumper to the front grill. Dan Caldwell told me that he inspected the car and that there was no rust. I received the car and immediately upon a visual inspection found that the car had recently been spray painted or undercoated black on the underside. The back passenger area next to the back tire actually has rusted completely through in an area several inches long. There are also places where the rusted metal is flaking off with the black paint on most of it. This car was purchased for my 18 year old son as a high school graduation present. I will not allow him to drive this Isuzu because I fear it to be unsafe. We were told and included it on the To Do form, when returning the paper work to Autos Direct Online, that the muffler would be replaced. The muffler that is on the car at point of delivery has a hole in it and does not work properly. This can easily be heard when the car is running. It sounds like a tractor. Again, DAN CALDWELL left me a voice message that a NEW muffler would be placed on the car. The car didn't receive a new muffler. · · When the car was turned on in the parking lot to unload it off the delivery truck the “check engine” light was and is currently on. Prior to purchasing the car, I specifically asked if there were lights on the dash signaling any issues with the car. Dan said, “Oh no, of course not. We don’t sell cars with any lights on.” I trusted Dan that there would be no engine issues with the car, especially as the car was driven off the delivery truck. The driver delivering the truck stated that the “check engine” light was on when he loaded it on his hauler. · Before the car was moved from the parking lot where delivered in Georgia, the oil was checked. THERE WAS NO OIL VISIBLE ON THE DIP STICK! Really! I had to add oil before I could drive it home. This car was purchased by my husband and me as a graduation gift for our graduating senior. We were so excited to find such a nice car in our price range. We are both teachers and do not have a large budget for his car. This most recent deal has stripped us of any trust as it relates to Autos Direct Online and your sales representative Dan Caldwell. I can only hope that Shawn or Dave (owner and general manager) choose to call me back soon. My son will soon leave for college and this needs to be settled. If ADO responds to this posting, please understand, they have yet to speak to us directly as of this date. They have offered nothing to solve this issue. This issue would be a small problem financially for a company that sells as many cars as they claim on their website. I offer this advice...stay away from DAN CALDWELL and AUTOS DIRECT ONLINE! Steve was very helpful and upfront with me about the vehicles history and even offered a car fax for free. When I took the car to the mechanic they had a hard time finding anything wrong with the car, but the few items they did find were fixed before I picked up the car. My mother loves her new car and I love how easy the whole process went. You owe it to yourself to give Steve a call and let him show you a better way to buy a car More
