The dealership is in Ohio which is indeed pretty far out of the way but with the customer service that Julie Turner provided, the fantastic value of the car that I purchased and the overall ease and comfort of the purchase, I would have willingly walked to Ohio. The car I purchased had some dings on the rims and Julie had them polished and looking brand new. Also the inside of the car was fantastically clean. More
Julie was so great to deal with! I saw the car online, chatted with her, put down a deposit and drove from Chicago on faith that it would be the perfect car. She didn't disappoint - my Suzuki was exactly chatted with her, put down a deposit and drove from Chicago on faith that it would be the perfect car. She didn't disappoint - my Suzuki was exactly as described, in great condition, with a thorough inspection. I even brought it to my mechanic back home and he confirmed I "bought a great used car." It was so nice dealing Autos Direct and not the slimy used car dealers we have in the city. Autos Direct even took my well-loved Pontiac as a trade-in. Great used car buying experience, thanks! More

They had a few different cars that I was interested in, all of which were at the lowest prices I could find. I test drove a 2008 Cadillac xxx and immediately fell in love. Dan McIntyre made the purchasing process an absolute breeze! I drove the car off the lot that day. I would recommend to anyone! Tom Kelly More
I always knew that the dealers will not tell you everything they know about a car a person wants to buy but I never thought someone will use image editing software to hide blemishes. Thats what happ everything they know about a car a person wants to buy but I never thought someone will use image editing software to hide blemishes. Thats what happened to me with ADO. I went to get the car after leaving a deposit and I noticed a good size rust above left rear wheel that I did not remember seeing on the photo. And sure enough it was not on the images. Not honest. So be careful and dont leave deposit before you see the vehicle because you may be surprised when you get there. More
I have visited many used dealerships looking for a car for my son's graduation present. I am amazed at what some will try to sell. Autos Direct Online have the nicest, cleanest cars. Great deal on a great vehicle. Julie was fantastic to work with. Had no problem fixing the minor issues I had with the truck. When I arrived to pick it up everything was exactly as they promised. My experience with this company is very similar to others who have posted on this site. I had been following a 2004 Sequoia on eBay for some time and finally picked up the phone and called to inquire about m who have posted on this site. I had been following a 2004 Sequoia on eBay for some time and finally picked up the phone and called to inquire about more details. I spoke with Jeff Payne who told me that the vehicle was in great shape and that it had undergone extensive inspection and testing. I put down my deposit and scheduled a pick up time. When I arrived at the dealership, I was informed that Jeff did not show up for work and that Matt would be handling the rest of the transaction for me. We completed the paperwork and when he brought the car around, it was filthy inside with heavy rust damage to the wheels that had been spray painted. Nevertheless, Matt assured me that it was a great vehicle and he just made sure that the fluids had been topped off so we would have confidence in our return drive to North Carolina. On our way back home, less than 100 miles into the trip, the check engine light came on along with the vehicle stability control lights. In addition, I noticed that the oil pressure gauge was not working. Later, it began to rain and I noticed that the windshield was leaking at the bottom where the glass meets the dash. There was no damage to the windshield, it was just poorly installed. I tried to call and text Jeff many times over the course of three days with no response whatsoever. He finally called me back on Monday and told me that there was nothing he could do since the issues never showed up during the inspections. He advised me to contact the sales manager, which I did. When I started to explain my problem, he asked if I could hold and he put me on hold for five minutes. Tired of waiting, I called back using a phone with a different area code. The same person answered and was shocked when I told him that I was tired of waiting and called from a different number. I've noticed that check engine lights are common complaints with this dealer. One method of turning off the check engine light for a short period of time involves disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. I have reason to believe that was done with my vehicle. They were careful to reset the clock, but they forgot to reprogram the radio stations after the battery was reconnected. At this point, I've spent almost $1000 in preventable repairs and want to make others aware of this. I know that there's not much I can do legally, but I can shine a very large light on this by publicizing my story in every forum I can find which is what I intend to do. At the very least, the oil pressure gauge and leaking windshield should have been caught during the pre sale inspection. More

I live in New York and made an 8 hour drive to purchase a 2003 Chevy Avalanche 4WD. After inspecting the vehicle I discovered that the truck was only 2WD. Feeling let down and a victim of a bait and switch I 2003 Chevy Avalanche 4WD. After inspecting the vehicle I discovered that the truck was only 2WD. Feeling let down and a victim of a bait and switch I asked the sales person Julie R Turner what was up with the 2WD. Her answer was that they have a new person listing the cars and he has been making a few listing errors. Now my great deal only became a good deal. I did purchase the truck and made the 8 hour drive home. Half way home I started to hear a clanking noise from under the car. I made it home but left the car at my mechanic to inspect. When he contacted me the next business day he told me that the truck was severely rusted on the frame, the tires had dry rot and would not pass inspection and the clanking noise came from a broken emergency brake cable to the rear wheels. I contacted Julie Turner who stated that there was zero warranty with the car. I asked about the 30 day warranty on the window and she said we put them on all the cars but that is just for show. I could not believe what I was hearing and told her so. Her response was just that I got a great truck well under book value. I don't think so. I didn't get a 4WD and had to put $1,000 into it in the first day of ownership. And I am figuring another $1,000 to have the undercarriage sand blasted and treated. Good deal I think not. More
BUYER BEWARE this company is clearly after only your money and will forget they know you when the car is off the lot. They will say anything to get you to purchase the used "as is" vehicles then foot y money and will forget they know you when the car is off the lot. They will say anything to get you to purchase the used "as is" vehicles then foot you the bill to get it running again. There is a reason why they have a F rating with the BBB (http://www.bbb.org/cleveland/business-reviews/auto-dealers-used-cars/cars-direct-online-inc-in-cleveland-oh-12004718), and do not believe all the positive feedback as they reportedly hold you hostage at their dealership for good feedback on eBay and Dealerrater. Below is my very bad experience with them: This company comes off as an honest and loyal used car dealership that sales quality used cars and are transparent and forthcoming about their vehicles. My experience was definitely not like that at all. The process started when I was shopping for a used SUV on eBay and I came across a 2006 Acura MDX that was in pristine condition. I called Autosdirectonline and spoke to Dan Caldwell about the vehicle and he explained how his company worked. Autosdirectonline takes a $500 non refundable payment to hold the vehicle and you have 7 days to come up with the rest of the money. They send you an electronic copy of the paperwork for you to sign and overnight back to them to process. Most importantly, after you have paid for the vehicle, it goes through a post purchase inspection where Autosdirectonline fixes any issues with the vehicle before delivery. If after you decide to purchase a vehcile after reading this rating, GET THIS IN WRITING as it will help your case if you have to file a BBB complaint and/or have to go to small claims court After explaining the process, and after seeing they were a powerseller on eBay, we decided to purchase the vehicle. Up until this point it seemed Dan was very courteous and genuine and I will say that throughout the rest of the process Dan was not there for personal reasons. It does seem that if Dan had be present, I think things would have moved a lot better. The next week, we finished the paperwork and sent them a check for the remaining amount and awaited further information as to when we could have the vehicle picked up. This was the first issue. There was a serious lack of communication between the dealership, me, and an independent technician I hired to make sure the vehicle was taken care of the way they described it. When it was finally inspected, the technician noticed that the body had been completely repainted and that at least 2 points of rust was "covered up." When I asked about this (referring to the post inspection report) I was told that the vehicle was sold as is and that I had misunderstood the point of the post purchase inspection. I had already purchased the vehicle and because I did not get the promise in writing, and the fact that we were borrowing/renting vehicles, I decided to take possession of the vehicle. After taking into account the clear and apparent body damage (conveniently not noticeable in the pictures they send you), the "no waste bottom dollar" price was less of a good deal and more like a fair deal. Before I go on, I would like to say I would not recommend even dealing with them without going in person to inspect the vehicle before and after the purchase. They will tell you what you want to hear and are not forthcoming with their vehicles. I cannot stress this enough. Moving on, I take possession of the vehicle on Saturday May 4th from Montway Delivery. Once we got the vehicle down off the truck, we went to start it up and it did not start because there was no gas in the tank. In addition, the vehicle looked as if a vacuum cleaner bag had exploded inside with dust everywhere. If you do take the vehicle, be ready to fork over cash for some gas and be ready to detail the vehicle yourself (this is not a deal breaker). I also inspected the fluid levels and oil life and noted that the vehicle desperately needed an oil change (they do not change the oil for you as a part of their post purchase inspection) and the transmission fluid, coolant, and windshield wiper fluids were all low. Autosdirectonline claims they top off the fluids, but they did not for my vehicle. The next day when we tried to drive the vehicle to church and it suddenly died on the road putting my family and I in to harms way. We had a friend, who is an ASE certified technician for Honda vehicles, look at our Acura and immediately could see the alternator was bad. Obviously we were very upset to have purchased a vehicle reported to be in good condition and running, but to actually have one in fair condition and not even running! I called the dealership the next day and spoke to Juan Rosario about the issue and he assured me he would make it right. He advised me not to purchase the part as he would purchase it for me and overnight it with a check to have it put on. 3 days later, I called on Friday to see about the status of my replacement part. Juan informed me that he had not purchase it yet. I was furious at this point as we had purchased the vehicle 2 weeks earlier, they had supposedly inspected it, and despite saying they would take care of it, they did not. Juan and I began exchanging heated words and he said some very unprofessional things, informed me that "I was on my own" and hung up. Since then, both Juan and Dan have been screening my calls and I had to pay $400 just to get the car running for the first time. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not deal with these crooks. Do not be scammed by autosdirectonline!!! Added 05/26/13 After getting the BBB involved, their response to the BBB was this: MESSAGE: This vehicle was sold as is with no warranties expressed to the customer. We encourage third party inspections to all of our customers, however this customer declined. Thanks, Autos Direct Online This should prove their lack of customer service after the sale of the vehicle. That was their initial response (filled with lies) and I have responded accordingly. Do not trust these crooks! If you get suckered in and taken advantage of, check your local state laws concerning false representation of vehicles and seek professional legal help. Added 5/30/13 Yet another issue with this company! It is now 05/30 and my temporary tag expires 06/01 yet there is no title to be found. I called today and they had no clue, told me to call back tomorrow, and said they would make it right. Christine is a very professional individual and I trust she will try her hardest to help me out, however, I do not see how I will be able to register the vehicle before my tags expire. Thank you so much Autosdirectonline for screwing me yet again, rendering my only vehicle useless after Saturday (I live on a military installation and they will make me park my vehicle once the tags have expired). We are planning a vacation, leaving on Sunday, to go visit my wife's grandmother and now we do not even know if we will have a legal vehicle to drive. Best case scenario,we have to push back our trip and leave on Monday after I register the vehicle (that is IF I receive the title this weekend)! Please do yourselves a favor and do not do business with this unscrupulous company. They truly do not care after the purchase! More
