We bought our vehicle online, had an appointment to pick it up we drove two hours, only to be told that our vehicle was not at the dealership. We did not receive a call to let us know that before we drove al it up we drove two hours, only to be told that our vehicle was not at the dealership. We did not receive a call to let us know that before we drove all that way.Two days later we went back to pick up our vehicle our "salesman" Dave was short with us and got very angry with us when in fact he was the one in the wrong .It took him forever to do our paperwork, then he tried to pull a fast one with the warrantyThe vehicle came with one at full purchase price. But since he had taken some money off for HIS mistake(we did not ask for this) the vehicle all the sudden had no warranty. When we questioned this he became very hostile and aggitated with us, at this point we requested to deal with the manager. We finally got our paperwork we were told we would have our title within three weeks. .Fast forward- thirty days later no title , our tag is set to expire and we find out our van is STILL in the original owners name, no record of us or Autosdirect online. We call and Dave is very blasé' about the whole thing telling us it is our obligation to purchase another temporary tag.No big deal to him. This whole very bad experience is a BIG deal to me More

My experience with Juan at Autos Direct Online was bad from the beginning. They refused to have the vehicle (a 2004 Audi S4) inspected before I committed to buying it. Once I did and sent them a non-refun from the beginning. They refused to have the vehicle (a 2004 Audi S4) inspected before I committed to buying it. Once I did and sent them a non-refundable deposit (my first mistake), they found that it needed a new timing chain and related components. I'd already scheduled my flight out to Ohio (I like in Kansas) to get the car, which I had to cancel. They told me to come the following weekend. So, a little frustrated, I shrugged it off and bought another airline ticket for the following weekend. That didn't pan out, either. The following Friday, after not hearing from them all week, they called again. The car still wasn't back from the repair shop. Another airline ticket (about $200 each) down the drain. They promised it'd be done the following week. So, I bought one last ticket and told myself that was it. If it didn't work out on that third attempt, I was done. But, they called and said the car was ready, so I flew out to get it. On Friday, Juan had told me to call him on Saturday when I arrived and he'd pick me up from the airport himself. Great, I thought! After sitting at the airport for 30 minutes waiting on him, I called the dealership when I couldn't reach him on his cell. They said he decided to take the day off, but they would send someone to pick me up. 30 minutes later, an older guy (they call him Uncle-something.. Bill? Ben? Buck?) showed up. The ride back to the dealership with him was probably the best part of the entire experience. I got back to the dealership and spotted my car, which they'd pulled up and parked close to the building. It was filthy dirty, but otherwise looked like what I'd seen in the photos. There were a LOT of people there that day, and they were busy. Since Juan was nowhere to be found, I didn't know who to speak with, but they assured me someone would be with me soon. "Soon" amounted to TWO HOURS later before anyone got to me. Then, we started paperwork. I asked about the repair records, as Juan assured me he'd get me a copy of all the work they had done. The finance guys (Sean and Rollie) knew nothing about it, but that wasn't entirely surprising. They told me while we were working on paperwork, they'd have someone find those records. That never happened. So, they assured me they'd send them once Juan got back to the dealership the following week. Six months later, I still have nothing. Now the real fun part. I expected that when they delayed my purchase for THREE weeks, costing me over $600 in airline tickets, the car would actually BE fixed. The drive from Cleveland to Wichita, KS where I live was almost exactly 1,000 miles. About 500 miles into the drive, the power steering pump went out. Horrible screaching and whining sounds came from the car and it was incredibly difficult to turn. We stopped in St. Louis for the night and luckily, a Firestone was open on Sunday morning. They checked it over and confirmed the power steering pump failure. I tried calling Juan and sending a few texts, but no reply. The check engine light came on and hasn't turned back off ever since. After getting the car home, it went to the shop the next day (Monday) to have the power steering pump replaced. $600 dollars and almost a week later, I was pretty irritated about this whole transaction. The check engine light was STILL on, and the mechanic told me it was a "cam shaft position sensor" and both right and left motor mounts. He guesses Autos Direct Online erased the check engine light right before selling it to me so I wouldn't know anything was wrong. Then, the air conditioner quit working. It blew air, but not cold air. So, I had it charged. $60 bucks later, I had that fixed and the car drove nicely for a couple months. At the end of May, the car started idling rough and making clattering sounds, and the check engine light came back on. Once again, I took it to the shop. In this time, I'd put roughly 6,000 miles on the car from the time I bought it, 1000 of which was just driving home from Autos Direct Online. This time, after diagnosing it, they said the timing chain was bad and needed replaced (I hadn't told the mechanic that Autos Direct Online supposedly had the work done). The estimated repair bill from the mechanic: $8,000. I paid $12,500 for the car, so I was blown away. I tried calling Juan a couple times and after getting no answer, left a message asking him to call me back. He's never returned my calls. I stopped driving the car and drove an old work truck I borrowed from a relative. I was a little skeptical about the diagnosis (and the mechanic), so I took it to a different shop at the beginning of July. They spent three weeks going over the car and came back with a similar diagnosis: the timing chain, tensioners and guides would need replaced. Their estimate: $10,000. I took the car back home and parked it again while I tried to figure out what to do. I don't have $10k sitting around to fix the car, and even if I did, it'd be a horrible decision to dump it into a 10 year old car with 100,000 miles, which has a book value barely any higher than the repair bill! I talked to a few friends, who recommended I take it to a different shop who might be able to help me out. I did that this week and had it diagnosed. I got the car back yesterday along with a very similar diagnosis. This mechanic, who only works on VW and Audi vehicles, said the timing chains and all their components (tensioners, guides, etc) needed replaced, as well as at least one (but likely both) of the cam adjusters, which was causing the car to advance the timing, even though the computer in the car didn't call for it to be advanced. Doing this work requires him to pull the motor completely out of my car. Just the labor on pulling the motor out (and putting it back in when he's done), assuming he did no actual work to it, is $2,500. That's the maximum liability amount per claim on the extended warranty Autos Direct Online sold me. His repair estimate was $9,000, which would leave me $6,500 out of pocket. Conclusion I waited several months until I was confident I had an accurate diagnosis of the problem before writing this review. In the 6 months I've had the car, it's been completely out of commission for at least 2 months, and it's been at three different shops, who all come back with the same (or similar) diagnosis, indicating that Autos Direct Online either a.) willfully and intentionally lied to me and didn't do any of the work they claimed to have done, delaying me 3 weeks on picking up the car OR b.) didn't have the work done correctly and completely (perhaps only a few of the smaller parts replaced). Either way, I owe $13,000 on a car that needs $8,000 - $10,000 in work that Juan at Autos Direct Online told me was done. I specifically remember him calling when he allegedly got the car back from the shop and telling me "Mike, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting for these 3 weeks, but now you're going to have a car that will last you another 100,000 miles. I call BS, Juan. It made it 6,000. More
Found a Subaru Tribeca with low miles on eBay listed by Autos Direct Online and since we only live a couple of hours from Cleveland, we decided to drive over and check it out in person. Chatted online with Autos Direct Online and since we only live a couple of hours from Cleveland, we decided to drive over and check it out in person. Chatted online with a rep on their website and after verifying that car was still available, Jason Brown called us back in about 15 minutes and set up an appointment for the same day. Upon arrival, the car was out on the lot and ready for a test drive. Jason slapped on the temp plates, gave us a brief overview of the area and let us take the car out by ourselves. The car was immaculate and having already looked over the free Carfax, we were ready to buy. After a little bit of negotiating, we signed some paperwork, wrote a check and drove off with our "new" Subaru. The whole process took about an hour and 15 minutes. Thanks Jason! More

We purchased a Honda Pilot on Ebay Motors through this dealer. The salesman Dan went back and forth with me via text about the car. I had asked about rust and dents on the Pilot and Dan assured me none. dealer. The salesman Dan went back and forth with me via text about the car. I had asked about rust and dents on the Pilot and Dan assured me none. There was some small scratches on the rear bumper that were "to be buffed out" by the time I picked up the car. Also, Dan was to add my wives name to the paperwork to save time since she is not on our Ebay account. The drive to get to the car is about 4 hours. After arriving at the dealership, we had to wait for 45 minutes to be waited on. From there the car took another 30 minutes to get cleaned up and bring out to us. I wanted to test drive the car but they had literally put no gas in the tank and the low fuel light was on. The car had dings and dents, and also some rust and the scratches were not buffed out. To get a discount as promised on the phone, if we gave them a positive rating they would put some gas in the car. After traveling 4 hours and hiring a sitter to watch our kids, we took the car home because we felt we were stuck. The title took 4 weeks to obtain, after several attempts calling customer service. The whole experience was horrible and totally unprofessional. I believe this dealership will not be in business long because of the poor service and the people working there. It is obviously an numbers dealership and people don't matter. I will never recommend Autos Direct Online to anyone. On a 1 -10 level with 1 being the worst, they would receive a 1. More
