The dealership is very clean and offers coffee, sodas, water etc. or shuttle service if you choose not to wait. I usually wait. My service adviser is Clint. I brought our vehicle (Lexus RX350) in for a 75000 mile check and a "rattle in steering column" . Turns out the rattle was a broken bushing, which required replacement of the steering column. Long story short, we picked up the car 16 days later with no replacement steering column in sight. Jeremy, our service rep tried, but parts department couldn't get the steering column from North Park Lexus due to some unpaid invoices, and they thrashed around without finding another source for all that time--still no prospect for the part on day 16. We've used Autonation Toyota for several of our Toyotas previously, with excellent results--we were less fortunate with this difficult Lexus problem. More
In the past we have had no problems with this dealership but this time I took it in for diagnostic testing for a battery charging message and it was there for two days. It was decided it was the alternator but this time I took it in for diagnostic testing for a battery charging message and it was there for two days. It was decided it was the alternator and because we have an extended warranty they had to file a claim and get an ok to do the work. It was given an ok but they wanted more info and that took another two days. They let me take the vehicle home and I made three calls for an update with no call back. One morning the car would not start so had to get it towed to dealership, where the new alternator had come in. It was installed later that day and The shuttle picked me up to go to the dealership. I signed the papers, the advisor went out to get the car and it wouldn’t start. Had to install a new battery. So right now I am not really very happy with the service but I do really like my Highlander. More
