Auto Nation Service Dept works like a team so that I am back in my car in a reasonable amount of time. Yesterday Clint made sure that the issue with a wiper was repaired, and that that I got the most from back in my car in a reasonable amount of time. My son was dropped off his vehicle to get a standard oil change and tire rotation as per a confirmed email from the dealership for 6-1-23. He gets home with a $450.00 bill. He was told it is recommended that a flush was needed and something else. That since he was already here they could do it and it would only take about a hour or so. The standard sales pitch. Never once did he give a cost to my 20 year old son. The vehicle is not under his name. Though this standard, it should not be done to young adults that have no idea. In the past he would call me when a high number was given and then I WOULD decide yes or no. This time no cost was given and "it's recommended" and " since you are already here" talk. I think morally this is not right. Now i am wondering how may times has this been done to other young individuals. I did call and speak to the service manger and told her our story. All i got was I apologize it happen that way. As parents you want to protect your children and when you find out someone took advantage of them, you teach them a lesson about people like him. I did not even get a" how can me make this right". I was disappointed with how he asked my son on how school was going and telling about his kids... oh and by the way we recommend and since your here already... without giving him the additional cost. This would not have happened if he was dealing with an adult. I hope this not happen again the lack of communication to young adults. More
The parts need a little help. I order the part they said I need and it would be in in 2 weeks. When I called I talk to the rudest man ever.
