My current vehicle has a recall that i didn´t know about until I tried to renew my DMV registration. I found out that I can´t get it renewed until the recall issue is fixed. I called Autonation Carlsbad and was told to come in ant they could provide a form that I could use to get my tags. Nope, the person din´t know what she was talking about and I was informed I might have to wait 6 months, which doesn´t do me much good when my tags are about to expire. I have been promised call backs from supervisors on several occasions and not once have they followed through. Driving around with expired tags while my case with Chrysler Jeep is waiting to be heard. More
Awful Awful Awful. Do not take your vehicle here to get serviced. Our car has been with the dealer for over two weeks. We have been called on three separate occasion Do not take your vehicle here to get serviced. Our car has been with the dealer for over two weeks. We have been called on three separate occasions and falsely told our vehicle was ready. The first time, the dealership said they called us in error. The second time, they called back and said they drove the car and they didn't think it was ready. The third time, my husband drove the car and said the problem was worse than before and now unsafe for driving. The service advisor was about to send a vehicle unfit for the road back to my family knowing we would have two small children in the car. This is the absolute worse experience I have ever had....almost to the point where we are contemplating selling the car so we won't have to deal with such awful service. Oh and good luck calling and actually talking to someone! They rarely answer the phone, More
I met Rob Helms, service advisor, for the first time yesterday. He was both professional and personal in understanding my needs. I am happy to have someone I can count on for the future care of my Jeep yesterday. He was both professional and personal in understanding my needs. I had an appointment on Black Friday for a check engine light and dropped off my car. After lunch I still hadn't heard what the repair status was. I couldn't get through to my service advisor through the a light and dropped off my car. After lunch I still hadn't heard what the repair status was. I couldn't get through to my service advisor through the automated phone system because they were running a skeleton crew that day. Finally I called new car sales and got transferred to my advisor and was at least able to leave a voicemail. End of business rolled around and I still hadn't heard. That was inconvenient not knowing what was going on. Finally on Saturday I got a text with my vehicle status. Monday I got a text my car was ready. Went to pick it up and had to wait for 3 customers to check their cars in before I could sign my paperwork and have the super nice car valet bring my car around. More
Had to wait week and half for appointment: oil change (offered 3 free at time of new purchase 6/2022), tires rotated and a check of loud tire noise on left front. The helpful Service rep was extremely b (offered 3 free at time of new purchase 6/2022), tires rotated and a check of loud tire noise on left front. The helpful Service rep was extremely busy as only two were on duty 11/20/23... he was doing work of two others! He plugged in a diagnostic brick into my 2022 Willys Jeep to download data to his computer. While he was frantically working, I happened to noticed a sign on door that said that a diagnostic would cost $299 and it would take three days... I didn't ask for a diagnostic! I questioned him about that, and he said it takes three days for technicians to figure out issues. I told him I personally didn't have other transportation than my bike and Thanksgiving was on Thursday! He said I could get it on Friday! (Nice.) I was troubled over the "diagnostic" pitch as it is a way to upcharge a service call. If you go to the hospital for a diagnostic EKG... it can be read immediately! Those car codes showed right on his screen during the download! Because of a general observation that the service department was being poorly staffed and run, I declined the service, went to another facility, paid for the rotation and oil change and discovered that the noise was because the aggressive tire treads on large tires wear uneven and make road noises; they rotated them, checked for strut issues and steering link tightness... all good. And now noise is less. In April I had a safety issue with the Jeep and reported it; the previous dealer told me it would take three weeks for an appointment to "download" the codes to see why the vehicle surged forward at a stop, striking the car in front of me. Sadly, if I had known the services issues associated with the previous and current dealer, I would have considered buying another Toyota where I NEVER had a service issue! AutoNation appears to be big corporation heavy in selling used cars to make a good profit but not so much in servicing autos previously sold at the dealership. More
Brought car Abarth for warranty radio repair, team could not find radio replacement, sent me to independent car shop after two months, just a very disappointing experience, seemed not to be too motivated to not find radio replacement, sent me to independent car shop after two months, just a very disappointing experience, seemed not to be too motivated to fix my car. Installed the wrong radio the first time, which I still have, and just sent me back to Chrysler care online to try to work it out between myself and some independent shop, just never made sense to me why the dealer wouldn't be the best equipped people to handle a Fiat repair with an original radio tried to speak to service manager, friendly but not helpful in the sense that they did not fix the car so can't give them a rating over one out of 10 More
Before the current owner my vehicle was always returned to me clean. Now I revive my vehicle back dirty an I have to remind them to top off the fluids when the do the oil changes. I took my jeep to get se to me clean. Now I revive my vehicle back dirty an I have to remind them to top off the fluids when the do the oil changes. I took my jeep to get serviced while still under warranty and I was turned away because of my tires. My tires are fine. They refused to check my shocks and alignment. I had to say I had a right under warranty my vehicle should have not been turned away. I reminded them to patch a tire an service tech still forgot so my vehicle had to stay another day and the tire still wasn’t patched when I picked it up. Really disappointed in the services here.
