The tv was on, which was fine, but there was also a section which was designed for people to have a bit of privacy. The technicians did a great job on our car and the customer service guys kept us up to date on the progress of the servicing of our car. We had bought a used car, one not purchased at Automax, and Automax treated us as if we had purchased the vehicle from them. Very polite, very concerned about our vehicle, and mindful of our comfort and needs. We have decided to make Automax Hyundai Del City the place where we will always get our car serviced. Shocks, Struts and Half Shaft I had brought my grandson's car in for service. He was told that he would need shocks, struts, and a half shaft (although Hibdon's didn't tell him wh I had brought my grandson's car in for service. He was told that he would need shocks, struts, and a half shaft (although Hibdon's didn't tell him which side). I contacted your service department as this is where we bought the car originally. Steve Hair was very helpful and got me to order the parts for the shocks and struts, but they were going to check the axle and give me a more definitive diagnosis for repair. I originally brought it in for service on 3 Nov 16. I was told that the passenger (right side) CV axle was bad and we went ahead and ordered that part. I brought the car back in on 10 Nov 16 for the half shaft replacement. When I left the service department, I noticed a torque on the steering wheel of about 10 degrees, and after accelerating on the road, at about 25 mph, the vehicle shifted right, and at 35-40 mph, it shifted back to straight and the steering wheel lined up correctly. I immediately called and talked with Steve and we decided that we would bring the vehicle back in to see what was wrong. I couldn't accept the condition the car was driving in, as my great-grandson drives around in this vehicle. I brought the car back in today, 16 Nov 16, and Steve told me that the lower ball joint had been worn. They got to work fixing it, and informed me that this service would be at no charge. I found this to be extremely convenient since the problem should have been diagnosed originally since there was a question of the steering and handling of the car. It is important to note that this was offered to me without me having to ask about it. I have never had this type of experience with a service department before. I consider your entire service staff both professional and customer friendly. The car now drives as well as it did when we bought it in 2007. We have purchased two Santa Fe's from your dealership and will continue to not only recommend you for buying a new car, we will recommend your service department for their outstanding service. I am 1000% satisfied and will recommend you in the future. More
