Walking around the car I wanted, I saw a mirror was broken, and was told, “If you buy the car, we’ll fix that.” {The car was delivered to me with that gray mirror replaced by a black mirror}. While broken, and was told, “If you buy the car, we’ll fix that.” {The car was delivered to me with that gray mirror replaced by a black mirror}. While I waited for the car to get delivered to me, I noticed that the website, and about 3 other phone numbers for these guys didn’t help. The website email address got me a form letter response. Their voice mailboxes are full. It almost seemed as if they took my deposit and left town. They were willing to put in writing that I could call them if my vehicle didn’t pass inspection, and they would “take care of it.” Later, as I was getting screamed at for not responding to a text asking me, “who are you?” …. I discovered that actually meant they wanted me to drive back 70 miles to let them fix it / not reimburse me. Is that a trick, stupidity, or is that just a Lie? At one point, I was asking when I could get the car picked up to have it delivered to me and was told they were “waiting on a $89 part.” I insisted I could not wait longer and would pay for that part to be replaced myself. Later, that part was quoted as over $2,000 to replace. My mechanic also said, “I don’t understand why somebody put this NON compatible (after – market) part on this car…. unless they were just trying to sell it - or something.” (Or something). They claimed they have several different people in this dealership, in that small house by the road, but I only met two brothers. The various cell phone numbers I was called from - had various names shown. Ultimately, separate from the roughly $2,500 I’ve paid to get this car fully repaired, etc.SO FAR, since the purchase, it’s still a good car / decent deal. If it weren’t for the strange explosion of intimidation tactics I heard when we discussed the promised reimbursement (they lead me to believe I had coming), I may have enjoyed the purchase. But now, I wonder if the “as is” warnings all over their windshields allows for various people to remove and re-sell parts, or something. I would never have considered such a thing if it weren’t for the overwhelming dishonesty about the inspection reimbursement lie. When somebody screams at you with illogical statements, there is a very good chance they just want you to "go away." More
