My 1992 Buick Regal is falling apart and I knew I couldn't put off buying another car any longer. I've now been looking for a used car for over a month. I only had $7500 to spend. I wanted a 2007, with under 100,000 miles....and please God, could it be black and have leather seats? I found plenty of cars, but either the mileage was too high and the cost within budget, or the cost was over budget and the mileage was great. Or, both were fine but the ride was like being inside a sardine can. I even drove six hours to Oklahoma to test drive a car that turned out to be a lemon. I'd almost given up when I found a dealership in my own Ralston neighborhood.....Autoland. I dealt with Ed, the owner. I first test drove a Kia Sportage, but hated the drive. Ed then showed me a 2007 Buick LaCrosse.....which was black, and had almost black leather seats (and I promise, I'm not making this up)!! It was love at first sight! It had all the 'bells and whistles' I wanted, the exterior was gorgeous, and the interior immaculate....the car smelled almost new. I then test drove it and it purred like a kitten on the interstate and around town....I knew I just had to buy it. But I'd been so struck by the looks of the car, I hadn't asked the sales price. When Ed told me, I literally gulped and my heart sank: $9,995 (with 99,035 miles) -- I confirmed that price on cars.com. I told Ed there was just no way I could afford that amount. We talked, and we talked some more. Ed came down to $8,000, and said he would 'float' me the other $500, letting me pay him $100 a month with a lien. This isn't a common practice of his, but he could tell how much I wanted the car....and he saw my car is on it's 'last leg.' My son was adamant that I have our family mechanic look the car over, and Ed was fine with that. After the car was thoroughly inspected, I asked the mechanic if he'd buy the car. Without hesitation he said, "In a heartbeat!" He did say the serpentine belt needed replacing, and the horn needed repair. Ed had his mechanic replace/repair both items free of charge. He also said that, for the life of the vehicle, he can have his own mechanic do the car repairs at a much cheaper price than taking it to a dealership or some other repair shop. I will post another review after I've had a vehicle for a few months. But I must say that Ed at Autoland has gone far in erasing my negative mindset regarding used car dealers! Thank you, Ed, for making my buying experience a painless and positive one! Victoria S. Ralston, NE More

I went in on a Tuesday and spoke with Ed's wife Mary, who was exceptional. Very kind and easy to work with. She let me take the vehicle for a test drive and even arranged for the vehicle to be looked at by my mechanic the next day. So Wednesday morning they dropped the vehicle off at my mechanic. The shop I had it taken to called me around 11am with their report. The vehicle was in pretty good shape, all 4 tires needed tire pressure monitor sensors replaced ($450), rear shocks ($150), and transmission service ($200). So about $800 worth of work... not terrible. I still felt this was workable for negotiating. I offered him $8000. He then proceeded to freak out on me, literally told me I was "a xxxxing waste of his time". Didn't even give me a chance to negotiate further, not that I'd want to after that. What reputable business owner talks to his customers like that? Apparently he's done this before according to a previous reviewer. Don't buy from this guy. Lowest of low. More
I had an excellent experience working with Ed on my purchase of my Audi A4. I live over 100 miles from the dealership so I relied heavily on the vehicles details as described by Ed. Ed was very up fr purchase of my Audi A4. I live over 100 miles from the dealership so I relied heavily on the vehicles details as described by Ed. Ed was very up front with the details of what need to be repaired prior to sale, he followed through on all repairs as agreed. One of the deciding factors for the purchase of the car was reviewing past reviews from previous Autoland Customers. All of the reviews seemed positive so I proceeded with the purchase. It has now been over 30 days since the purchase of the Audi and there are no issues with the car. I am very satisfied. In addition, I have made contact with Ed on inquiries regarding future vehicle service. I am happy to report that when you buy a car from Autoland you get customer service after the sale. This is exactly the level integrity I was looking for when making a decision of whom to purchase the vehicle from. In closing, I hope you find this experience helpful if you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Autoland Omaha. I will purchase my next vehicle here again. More

The vehicle we purchased had a couple of minor imperfections, and Ed gave us contact information for technicians whom he trusted to have them corrected. Ed even paid for the removal of a small door ding! I would not hesitate to recommend Autoland to my friends and family. More
Ed and his wife Mary are very friendly and helpful with determining the right car for you! Ed was able to take my car as a trade in, and gave me a great deal on the Honda Civic that I bought. He is not lik determining the right car for you! Ed was able to take my car as a trade in, and gave me a great deal on the Honda Civic that I bought. He is not like every other car dealer that pushes and pushes you into purchasing something you may not even need. (Being a 24 year old woman, other dealers tried to push and push warranties and many other things I wouldn't have even needed) The service was friendly and he kept everything at a good pace for me so I didn't feel rushed. Ed also offered his mechanic to keep up with maintenance on my new vehicle! Auto Land has the best vehicles, whether your looking for old or new, he's got something for you! More
