Great buying experience I had $25,000 to put down and finance the rest on a luxury car, so buy a 2019 cheap version or get a 2nd hand top version. Looked up cars on car gurus and seen at Audi A8 at Autobahn in Westborough.I went to look car had some small scratches on the hood, everything else was good , but too boxy looking. Salesman Ken H. came out showed everything on car and apologized for having a car on the lot that had scratches. Told him didn't like the boxy look and it wasn't the scratches. I took a walk around and he let me have space, which was great not having someone right on top of you trying to make a deal. Had a lot of nice cars , but nothing caught my eye. Ken gives me his card and says manager wants to come out and talk to me. Right away I'm thinking here comes the pressure sale, but to my surprise sales manager Danny H. comes out and apologizes for that car not being prepped, which I told him that I didn't call or anything I just showed up at their lot. He told me to keep checking his website and he would gladly help and I never seen any sales manager take the time to come out like that when your not even purchasing. I went home and checked their site and found a Mercedes S550 which looked beautiful, so I contacted Ken and when I got there , he showed me the original A8 with scratches already fixed {which I was surprised as I wasn't buying it, but they still fixed it} ,and went to check out the Mercedes and again no pressure as we took it for test drive. Car was flawless , now something has to go wrong as to much going in my favor as car,salesman and sales manager have been too perfect, then on to finance with Adam J, this is where everything must go wrong, but again I'm shocked as he tried all kinds of different banks and finds me a great rate. Then showed me extended warranties. I picked a Continental warranty and signed all paper work with warranty financed. The warranty covered bumper to bumper , but not the hi-tech equipment, which isn't anyone's fault as it's just what that warranty company offers so, with paper work signed already I figure nothing I can do, maybe have to go somewhere and pay for a second warranty. I call Adam figuring he won't want to redo everything and I already signed, but he said no problem. He redid all the paper work , took out the warranty I didn't like. The other thing that was surprising that this was over 3 days and the 2nd day Adam had the day off ,and that didn't stop him from calling and texting me to help me on his day off. I try to write reviews about every place I go and have to say this is my first good one for a car dealership. I love my car and all the help I received, Thank you to the great staff at AutoBahn for running a business as it should be.I also wanted to add that I drive a used Mercedes that I paid $49,000 with $124,000 original sticker price. Hannah went above and beyond to keep me in the loop regarding my repairs which were completed in less than a day! Eric was also outstanding and took the time to answer all my questions and explain the repairs that were completed on my vehicle. I would highly recommend the autobahn service department. He gave us all the options we had so that we could make an informed decision about the car we wanted; the one that we had viewed on line. We test drove a similar car as the one we wanted because the actual car we had seen on line was at the shop. We loved the car we tested, and the actual car we wanted was availble on Tuesday. This car did not disappoint. Brandon was knowledgeable and provided the information we needed and asked for. He was patient and answered our questions. There was no pressure to buy the car, and Brandon did not take any offense to some of the repeated questions we had. The staff at Autobahn is friendly, pleasant and polite. The dealership is clean, comfortable environment. I woud definitely purchase a car from Autobahn again in the future. More
One and DONE We began our car search adventure with the intention of driving a car or two and then continuing on to several other dealerships around New England. We have always purchased used cars and have always been successful in finding the hidden gems we were after. Alex Montes was randomly assigned to us as our sales person. Alex was polite and had a casual energy about him, confident in his role and very knowledgeable about the extensive list of cars on his lot. We peppered him with questions all over the gambit about this make, that model, this year versus that year. So on and so one. Never a note of irritation or pushy behavior so common with car sales people. We arrived at 7:35pm no less- so irritation was what we anticipated given closing time was 8:00. We had to return another day to drive some other cars Alex had given us some information on. We returned on a weekend and suffice it to say the place was BUSY and it was a hot day outside. Alex was busy and we waited for him to attend to us. Again, he was polite, courteous and despite the hustle and bustle of the environment- Alex was calm, polite and never put out by any of our questions or requests. We left that day, having driven a few other cars and needed some time to process the options. A close friend of ours had purchased a car through CarVana and so we gave it a look. They had the car I wanted with the eight year, features and finishes. It was a bit more expensive than what we had looked at with Alex but it surely wasn’t out of the ballpark for our budget. With this in mind we wanted to bring our trade in for review and drive the Mercedes GLC 300 one more time. Again, we met with Alex and had some time to work on paperwork while another colleague drove our trade in for assessment. We had some polite conversation with Alex all the while and we began to see some commonalities we had with Alex being from the same area. It was with this conversation that we both decided we truly wanted to give Alex our business due to his combination of knowledge about the products, patience with us and his overall calm, confident and polite nature he possesses. What a gem of an employee he is for Autobahn. This is the kind of employee that folks like us wrote reviews like this and ultimately buy from your company and tell our friends and family about the experience we had. We could have easily taken our business to CarVana or a number of other dealerships (who have much more elaborate snack/beverage options😛) but we were so impressed with Alex that we wanted to give him our business. Start to finish it was a great experience. We also had the pleasure to work with Jean on our paperwork and financing. Another wonderful employee! He was knowledgeable and smart and never pushy. It was such a pleasure to chat and work with him on what is generally speaking a not so exciting aspect of purchasing a car. An employee like Alex will be running and owning a dealership like this- patient, smart, tenacious and hardworking- that is a ten star employee!!! More
