I don't like bad talking companies. But the technician made a bad call on my repair, costing me $1,100. For miss diagnosing my Sierra. I'm such a loyal Chevy customer, that it pissed me off so bad. I went out and bought a FORD. I've never owned nothing but Chevrolets since I was a kid, 50yrs. I had a hard time believing that a truck with 50k mile needed a lifter replacement that Chevy has been having issues with for 20 years. They've done nothing with the problem. I love Chevrolet but I'm not spending 50k on a vehicle that people are taking apart at 50k miles. I want to get 200k miles out of a motor. It's a serious problem that they will fix if it's under warranty. But if ant your footing the bill for a several thousand dollars. That's why I got rid of mine . Warranty runs out on 5 months. The $1100 dollars they charged me was for a fuel injection on the same cylinder they say the lifters were bad. Bad diagnosing as I said in the beginning. They have had problems with the litters for over 20 years. FIX THE PROBLEM, NOT EVERYONE HAS A WARRANTY. More

Was encouraged by the service rep that they would take care of me. I was disappointed at their approach to the vehicles problems. To me it was not logical. Quotes were extremely high and during the first care of me. I was disappointed at their approach to the vehicles problems. To me it was not logical. Quotes were extremely high and during the first week was Memorial Day and the tech had training on another day that week. Vehicle was done with the first problem by Friday the same week. Full price of quote for that part of it. Second problem took a day to identify. Was quoted a very high price. Job was done in less than a day once the rebuilt transmission was available. When I picked up the car the dealer would not take an out of state check or credit card. Said I needed to bring cash or go to the bank for a certified check. They waited until I arrived to tell me this. The service adviser failed to tell me how I could pay for the services. Took an un needed amount of time and effort to accomplish the payment. The people there were not empathetic to me or my wife and I had the feeling they did not care about the service we were getting. I would rate this poor customer service. More
I bought a new 2024 Silverado Pickup 3 months ago from AutoStar. The truck has been wonderful. Unfortunately, I all of a sudden had a number of Issue with the Lane Assist, Adaptive cruise control, the G AutoStar. The truck has been wonderful. Unfortunately, I all of a sudden had a number of Issue with the Lane Assist, Adaptive cruise control, the Google apps, and the Internet/data hotspot a week ago. I called Holly and she and Danielle me up with a visit almost right away. I took the truck in and Holly was there to apologize as well as the Service Manager. The service center went through the truck for around 6 hours. They reviewed every software update, checked for error codes and looked at updated documents and rode with me in the truck so I could show them what I was experiencing. During the whole visit, Holly and Danielle were constantly coming in to give me updates on what the service people were doing as well as what they found. When I left the had addressed every issue I had and fixed them. There was an issue with the Onstar internet/data. They told me what to explain when I called Onstar. I called them and within 15 minutes the issue with the data connection was fixed. They had to reinstall software and reset my connection and it was done over the air. You wil1 not find a more dedicated staff or a responsive one for servicing a vehicle. They also work as a team and don't throw anyone under the bus. I have been buying and having vehicles serviced for over 55 years and have never seen this level of customer service in any of three states. Thanks you to the staff at AutoStar for taking care of me. I may have left out a service technician but I did not meet them all so sorry if I left someone out. More
They did what I asked for, good work. Then they handed me a laundry list of thousands of dollars in repairs. Obviously, this is a sham too. Pay of fee and lose the records. Either the system is lying or the people are lying. More
