If you’re expecting a full service dealership forget about it and go to Asheville. First off, you can’t even order a part unless it’s M-F no weekends and the service department won’t help in their absen about it and go to Asheville. I ordered a replacement mirror for the passenger side and confirmed twice that it was for the right side. When they called a few days later with part arrival I asked specifically if it’s for the right side passenger and they confirmed yes it is. After waiting until the of the week to get an installation appointment, an hour into the appointment I was told they ordered the wrong mirror for the left side. At this point I had to wait again!!! For the correct mirror and make an additional appointment and rearrange my work schedule because this dealership has NO loaner vehicles or rentals while my car is completely missing the mirror because they couldn’t get it back on since it fell apart. So I had come back again waiting for them to repair this which they charge a hefty $150 plus fees just to install this mirror not mention the almost $400 part cost too. I would have been better going to repair shop and saving the money instead of paying the dealership premiums and getting inferior service. Poor to non existent recovery on the dealership to retain my future business. I thought would support a local smaller business instead of going to Asheville, but I was definitely wrong in that choice in choosing Autostar. I thought about buying a newer vehicle from them, but definitely very hesitant on ever doing that. More
My 2021 Chevrolet Suburban from Pennsylvania broke down and was towed to AutoStar. The diagnosis was the #2 lifter failed. Your dealership even though they confirmed the lifter issue when first towed there and was towed to AutoStar. The diagnosis was the #2 lifter failed. Your dealership even though they confirmed the lifter issue when first towed there, said there was nothing wrong with my car and felt it was bad gas!!!! My Chevrolet dealer, Brown Daub from Nazareth, Pa. flew an employee down to drive my car back because AUTOSTAR, did not want to deal with it!!! My car broke down again on the way back and it was indeed the LIFTER!!!! Also, this dealership had NO CAR for me to use, I was basically stranded, I had to have my Son drive 2 hours up from Georgia and drive another 1/2 hour to where we had reservations!! Then I had to take a taxi that cost me $125 to take me to the Enterprise in Waynesville. NEVER EVER will I deal with any dealership that wants to pass a severe service issue off to another dealer especially one that is well over 600 miles away!!! AND the IRONIC thing is...GM knows of this LIFTER ISSUE and will not do a RECALL!!! More
