This dealership allowed me to leave with a vehicle that was in an unsafe, life-threatening condition. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. As I pulled away I noticed that it didn’t feel right was in an unsafe, life-threatening condition. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. As I pulled away I noticed that it didn’t feel right and felt/heard a thump in my tires. I turned around and went back to the service department to express my concern. The service writer, upon examining the tires said it was just because I had waited so long to have the tires rotated. She said they would “even out” and recommended I “turn up the radio”. As I drove home the sounds and rough riding got worse, as well as the steering. I pulled off at a gas station to take a look. When I touch one of the lug nuts, it literally came off in my hand. Every lug nut on both driver’s side tires were in the same condition. I literally had to approach a stranger (being a single, older woman) to help me. He tightened them enough so that I could get home safely. I shudder to think what would have happened had one, or both, tires fell off as I was going 60mph down the highway. More
