I fully understand the reasoning for passing on the charge for using the credit card. I choose not to use debit cards due to the potential issues if they are compromised. My real issue is that I was not informed BEFORE the service was performed that there would be the additional charge. The Chevrolet dealer I normally use has lower hourly rate and does not have an additional charge for using a credit card, so I hope you can understand why I was surprised and frustrated by the additional charge.
