Update on my experience with this dealer: yesterday, I called and left a message with the dealer to let them know of the transmission issues my wife and I experienced just 9 days after purchase. I told th called and left a message with the dealer to let them know of the transmission issues my wife and I experienced just 9 days after purchase. I told them that this is likely going to be a multi-thousand dollar repair and offered them the opportunity to make right the apparent wrong they committed in selling my wife a vehicle with a faulty transmission, whether through us towing them the vehicle to have their preferred repair shop take a look at it and address it or to help us with the repair costs. As of today, I have not heard back from the dealer and I got a call from AAMCO who I had take a look at the transmission and they're saying that it's failing and needs to be replaced. Repair costs will run $2,250 in labor and, as of now, an undetermined amount for the cost of a refurbished transmission (likely $3,000+). My wife and I got 9 days and roughly 500 miles (100 of which were from just driving the vehicle home from the dealership) of use out of this $13.5k car before the transmission failed. This car was intended to be our family vehicle to drive our infant baby and 9 year old. Shame on this dealer and the staff for selling my wife this lemon and not getting back to us. More
Purchased the vehicle and today (day 9 of ownership) and a bunch of warning lights come on and a VSC System (traction) warning triggered “limp mode” on the van. All signs pointing to transmission failure. V a bunch of warning lights come on and a VSC System (traction) warning triggered “limp mode” on the van. All signs pointing to transmission failure. Very shady dealer. More
