They showed us a few cars, we picked a VW Beetle and then it started... they didn't have the title ready (after taking my son's money) but they would have it the next day. Two days later they tell us to go ahead and take the car home (still don't have the title ready). I was there alone so they parked it in the open lot, handed me the key and I came back to get it with him after closing. I get in it to drive home and it doesn't even make it to the closest gas station. So I call AAA and get them to bring me gas. It over heats on the way home, twice. The next day they are closed, I try to drive it around the block and it over heats. I call from work Monday morning at 9:16am, they promise someone will call me back. At 5:15pm when I get off, still no call. I call them and they try to put me to voice mail again until I ask if they want me to drive it back or if they wanted to tow it back(and by the way, title still isn't ready).. Finally the guy gets on the phone, tells me to get it back and they will make it right(which, by the way, doesn't include the cost of me buying gas from AAA. Not even an apology for leaving it on empty). We get it back there at 7:15pm (traffic and pulling over to let it cool) and decide to come back Wed. Wednesday we get there at 10, look at the cars available and chose one that is a little more money but seems worth it. He pays the rest of the money and they tell us it will take a while to clean it up and get the Smog check done. After being there so long, we were taking no chances and suggest picking it up Thursday morning. Wednesday afternoon, they call my son twice (he's at work and can't answer) and leave no message. Today (Thursday), I call at 9:10am, they tell me someone will call right back. At 11, my son calls, they transfer him to the parts department who doesn't have a clue. Finally, ten minutes later, someone calls him back and says the car has been ready since 3pm the day before. He tells them that we will come right over. So we head over, get there about 12. It takes them 20 minutes to print the 'rest of the paperwork' and get my son the paperwork. The car isn't ready. They keep telling us "just a few more minutes" over and over. 1pm I lose it and get angry. I'm assured the car will be ready in 10 minutes. They get the car to us with a few seconds to spare on that ten minutes. The car isn't detailed. Or if this is the detailed look, they need to fire the person who did it. My car is cleaner and I haven't taken it through a car was or vacuumed in 6 months. The seats may have been wiped down, and the floor in front vacuumed. The console and dash are filthy, the back seats aren't any cleaner than when we test drove it and the floor not vacuumed. The trunk is dirty and the outside has had a rinse. And barely 1/4 tank of gas. They had other excuses on why it wasn't ready but if they called and said it was ready at 3pm on Wednesday and they close at 8, why was it still filthy when we got it almost 24 hours later. We didn't get a good by from the sales person, in fact, after I started to get frustrated, seems no one wanted to speak to us but the client services manager who found the car and got it to us. This is not how my car buying experience was just 6 months before with AutoNation, not the experiences we have had before. I won't be recommending this place to anyone unless they wat to waste their days listening to false tales. More
