After checking Chattanooga, Dalton, Kennesaw, Atlanta VW dealers for a TDI ,dsg with Nav. None wanted to make a deal all wanted sticker price take it or leave it. Bo Nunez contacted by email and offered to dealers for a TDI ,dsg with Nav. None wanted to make a deal all wanted sticker price take it or leave it. Bo Nunez contacted by email and offered to beat anyone dealers deal by a bunch. We drove three hours to the dealership. When arriving our car was backed to the doors ready to go. We greeted by BO and walked to his office he had the quote of the best price I had Atlanta dealer) and Bo just dropped the price and with a handshake we had purchased a new TDI Jetta. Finance dept beat my credit union interest rate. I did purchase the VW extended warranty. While I was finishing the paperwork (total of 30 minutes), Bo was delivering the car to my wife, everything was setup and demonstrated blue tooth, nav etc. All questions answered. The dealership is like visiting a museum of VW for old to new and all models.. Bo is a honest, hard working salesman. We where treated like family and saved money in the process. here is his contact information Bo Nunez Internet Sales Manager Gunther Volkswagen Mall of Georgia 3711 Buford Drive Buford, GA 30519 (678) 745-9950 Front Desk (678) 745-9946 Direct (352) 207-8199 Cellular www.gunthervwbuford.com We have refered friends from Knoxville, TN (fours hours away) same positive experience. After visiting at least 20 dealerships in the Atlanta area, and doing hours of research online, we found our perfect car at Gunther.----Having dealt with at least 20 different salesmen at those dealershi area, and doing hours of research online, we found our perfect car at Gunther.----Having dealt with at least 20 different salesmen at those dealerships, we also found the perfect salesman in Mike "Tucci" Martucci. We were treated with the utmost respect, consideration, and professionalism that one could hope for. To the free T-shirt -as if we had purchased a brand new VW-. And right down to the finance Mgr. actually making it pleasant to write a multiple thousand dollar check. -that cannot be a fun job!!-----Honesty is something that we found lacking, from most of the dealers we visited. That was not the case with Gunther VW, and Mike, and the others that helped us. More
On Monday August 1st this dealership had a car listed on several internet sites for $43,868. We worked with their INTERNET sales person and told them we wanted the car and would be willing to send a down p several internet sites for $43,868. We worked with their INTERNET sales person and told them we wanted the car and would be willing to send a down payment or sign paperwork to have them hold the car. They told us we had to come into sign paperwork. We lived out of state and could not make it there until Friday. They then told us that they would not hold the car without the full amount of $44,380. We proceeded with financing for the car at our local bank and the dealership sent the invoice for the $44,380 to our bank, we had a check cut and overnighted to the dealership. Before the check was overnighted a photo of the check was sent to show them we were serious in purchasing the car. We got them a check overnighted, booked airline tickets and booked a truck to pick the car up to transport it back to our state. The sales guy called us and said they sold the car. We went online and they had raised the price of the car to $45,259. It was obvious that even though we were paying their asking price (at the time) and they had sent their invoice to the bank that they went forward with a deal because they raised the price and got more. Rather than calling us and talking to us about raising the price. When I phoned in 7 different times to speak first with the owner of the dealership, I was forwarded to a generic mailbox. Called back three times to speak with the sales guy and was disconnected once and transferred to his mailbox twice. I then called into speak with the sales manager. I was transferred to voicemail. I called back later and was told there were no sales managers in. When I asked again to speak to a sales manager she said, "well let me see if I can find someone." All of this was happening while their on hold message talked about, going above and beyond for their customers and working with honesty and integrity. I finally got a sales manager on the phone, WAYNE VILLAO, it was obvious that he was lacking integrity, honesty and customer service. Unfortunately a SLIMY car sales guy. He could have cared less that we were out the money for flight, overnighting the check and transportation and all the time and effort in making this happen. He told us, sorry I didn't have paperwork signed from you, which he was making us come in the dealership to sign. We found out that they had sold the car for more money even though they had a sales invoice to our bank for their asking price at the time. It is obvious that this dealership does not know how to work Internet sales, has ZERO integrity and is lacking honesty. I would NEVER work with this dealership or suggest that anyone do so. More
I had multiple phone conversations with Nick at Gunther VW regarding purchasing a new Jetta. After being quoted a price that seemed reasonable over the phone I set an appointment with Nick and made the tri VW regarding purchasing a new Jetta. After being quoted a price that seemed reasonable over the phone I set an appointment with Nick and made the trip to the dealership to buy the car. After traveling about an hour and half to reach the dealership, we met Nick who was very friendly at first. He even asked how far we drove to get to the dealership and when I told him over an hour Nick replied with "Wow, we had better treat you right then." Nick showed us the cars we had discussed over the phone and then took us to his office. We had previously test drove a Jetta so we just needed to work out the purchase. After sitting us down in his office we explained to Nick that we would be having a co-signer on the car. Nick said that was fine and handed us a credit application and explained that he needed to step away for a quick "5 minute test drive" with another customer. Which we were fine with...except Nick never came back. After sitting alone in his office for 20 minutes the general sales manager Joe Gunther came into the office and took our credit application and stated he would be right back. After another 40 minutes sitting alone in the office we watched Joe Gunther walk back and forth talking and working with many other customers but failing to return to the office we were sitting in. Finally after sitting in the office for over a hour and not being any further into the deal than we were when we arrived at the dealership my wife and I got up and walked out of the dealership. As we approached our car out front we saw our salesman Nick talking with another couple about a car. We passed by Nick who either didn't recognize us or chose not to acknowledge us. After we left there was no follow up calls or e-mails to ask why we had left, or any attempt to apologize for the way we had been treated. After setting an appointment I do not appreciate being juggled by a salesman and then completely ignored by both the salesman and the general sales manager in favor of what I can only assume they felt were "better prospects".
