Never Buy from Auto Nation Volkswagen of Georgia Placed retainer on a 2003 Corvette on 20 Jan 24, internet transaction with Grace Baker and Peter. Did not receive, was told papers would Georgia Placed retainer on a 2003 Corvette on 20 Jan 24, internet transaction with Grace Baker and Peter. Did not receive, was told papers would be overnighted to me to sign and return with certified check. After several calls and emails, finally received papers on 2 weeks later. Was told they have the best shippers for transporting the car to Florida. When car arrived, I pointed out damages to driver's side. Driver said "no English" best driver's and cannot speak English? I immediately called Peter and sent photos received lip service that AutoNation would make it right. Called Peter several more times and received the same lip service, no call backs or returned text. Called and requested to speak with the used car manager and each time sent to a number with no answer, left my phone number and issue with no call backs. Have also requested copies of the sale paperwork signed by AutoNation and have yet to receive them. Should also mention car was received with 1/8th tank of gas. In all my years of buying cars I have NEVER received a car without a full tank of gas Stear clear of this business! More
The sales team is great but the stars of the dealership sis hands down the service department. The person that helped me was great. He wasn't my service advisor though. Unfortunately, he had no idea what had been done with my car and what to recommend. We went to AutoNation VW at the Mall of GA in a pinch. Due to scheduling issues between my daughter and I we needed to find and purchase a car that day. We were on a budget as well since the insurance check hadn't yet arrived on my daughter's previous vehicle. Philip Tartaglia came to the rescue! He showed us a relatively low mileage vehicle that she and I liked for her right off the bat. Having been burned by a local small-time dealer previously, they had no issues with me taking the vehicle to a mechanic and, after returning with a few very small concerns, those issues were handled by their service department. The Svc Dept actually invited me back to see them checking those items out for myself giving that extra sense of security! From there, our situation was unique in that we ended up working with Sean Davis and purchasing the vehicle without a loan but needing to put the title in both the daughter's name as well as my own. Sean was great in assisting us through that process since we have different addresses, etc. It took a bit of time to work through those issues that our particular transaction presented but Sean and Philip got us through it reasonably quickly. Altogether, a very nice car-buying experience with AutoNation VW at the Mall of GA and I would easily recommend them to anyone looking for a new/used vehicle. I'll certainly consider them myself the next time I'm in the market! More

I bought a 2023 Tiguen and the window was having issues. I was told that if I brought it in and left it overnight I could pick it up the next day & they would fix the window. I also told them my radio kept I was told that if I brought it in and left it overnight I could pick it up the next day & they would fix the window. I also told them my radio kept going to a blank screen and needed looked at. I called the next day to check on the car, they said they needed to keep it 2-3 days they were behind. I was like this is not at all what I was told I’m coming to get my car, what a joke! The service guy James told me all Volkswagen dealers are behind like this. So I go to pick up my car and they magically fixed my window “ they bumped it to the front of the line” but claimed they couldn’t fix my radio unless they saw it in action… ok I can’t stop what I am doing whenever it messes up and drive whatever distance to the dealer right then. I called another dealer, they got me right in, hooked my radio up to a diagnostic machine and saw it had errors and ordered a new one and it’s scheduled to be replaced next week so I go next week to have it installed! Never again will I use the Buford Auto Nation. Buying my car was a nightmare and then getting a warranty issue fixed was a joke!! Legit go to another dealership the experience is so so much better! More
