Chad has always exhibited a professional and curtious demeanor when dealing with me. Each and every time I have come into the Service Department I have been treated with the utmost respect and have been made to feel as if I am his top priority, whether it was for a simple oil change or a more complex problem. He has always gone out of his way to make sure that I am satisfied with the job performed, going above and beyond the normal duties of a Service Advisor. When Chad knew that I was considering purchasing a new vehicle he introduced me to Danielle Karp-Olknine in the Sales Department and it was through her that I purchased a new 2011 VW Jetta TDI in October of 2011. My vehicle is always clean and presented to me as if it was coming off of the showroom floor for the first time. I would and have recommended Desert VW Service Department to my family, friends and co-workers and will continue to do so. We actually had to come in for a service along with a trade in on two of our VW's. The service team at VW are amazing Roland Wheaten, and Mark Gillmore are always there to help assist with all of our nee trade in on two of our VW's. They take the time to listen to any and all problems we may be having with our cars. They are always willing to do their best to get things done as fast and acurate as possiable. They couldnt make our visit at VW any easier. The staff at Desert VW always puts us at easy knowing we will always be taken care of with the out most professionalism and respect. The sales team at VW is amazing as well we have been dealing with Tom O'Malley and Farris Gunning for years now when it comes to buying vehicles and there is no one out there that we would rather go to. Both men are very patient, and aare out to make sure you are happy, not like many sells guys/managers who only try to sell you. By far this dealership is one of the best and only dealerships i will go to when it comes to purchasing or servicing our cars. More
I own a 2009 VW Routan 4.0L SEL Premium with the Sachs/Novimat Self Leveling Suspension. The rear passenger side is leaking and I took it in to the Volkswagen dealership (Desert Volkswagen, W. Saha Sachs/Novimat Self Leveling Suspension. The rear passenger side is leaking and I took it in to the Volkswagen dealership (Desert Volkswagen, W. Sahara, Las Vegas) to replace it under warranty. The service department's answer: Oil seepage around shocks is normal. This statement came after they inspected the Nivomat Self Leveling Suspension visually! They didn't even test it under load condition. I contacted a Volkswagen NA customer care advocate and didn't get support there either. Thanks Volkswagen -great support and warranty. 04/26/2011 Update: I got contacted by David the GM at Desert VW and from there on everything went realy smoth. He set up an appointment with a VW technical qualtity engineer, himself and me on 04/26/2011. My problems with my Nivomat self leveling suspension (rear) are in the process off getting solved (parts need to get in before they can exchange them on my car). I learned somthing too: I should have talked to the manager instead of leaving frustrated with the service department's response or trying to get it solved with a VW NA customer care advocate. It looks to me that VW dealerships have it a bit harder to justify a replacement of a faulty part under warranty - that's something I didn't know coming from bimmers. I got under the impression that the service department ignored my problem under warranty. Thanks again David for contacting me, giving the chance to show the problem to the VW quality engineer (great guy btw) and find this solution. The Desert Volkswagen Service Manager was very friendly and helpful. After having a very bad experience with another Volkswagen dealer, my wife and I were pleased to discover that all dealers are not the s and helpful. After having a very bad experience with another Volkswagen dealer, my wife and I were pleased to discover that all dealers are not the same. Our car was fixed properly and we were not charged a penny. We will be loyal customers to Desert Volkswagen in the future. More
