If you are in the market for a vehicle, please do not purchase from Autonation in general but more specifically, Autonation USA, located in Charlotte NC. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING said to you by GM Cameron purchase from Autonation in general but more specifically, Autonation USA, located in Charlotte NC. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING said to you by GM Cameron Hudson, as well as GM Colin Rundell, for they both are dishonest. Autonation sold me a faulty vehicle under false pretenses. Please, don't take my word for it, check reviews, not only on Google, but also on Yelp, BBB, Consumer Affairs and Reddit. Autonation USA, customer relations is also a joke, for they do not return calls nor do they respond to emails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, unless you want to be cheated. More
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM! I purchased from them July of this year….the car I purchased not even 6 months ago. I was told the car was in great condition, gone through an extens I purchased from them July of this year….the car I purchased not even 6 months ago. I was told the car was in great condition, gone through an extensive service evaluation but that was actually a lie.I took the car to my local dealership for regular maintenance only to find out it had over 10 critical issues that needed immediate attention, to the tune of over $7000!!!!! There is no way they didn’t know the car had that many high costing issues. Do not purchase from them. ***UPDATE*** 11/25/24 As you can see, I received a reply to my review from someone who identified themselves as “Owner”, inviting me to call the GM, giving AutoNation the opportunity to make this right, and I did that, spoke with the GM, Colin Rundell, who set up an appointment with me to come in on tomorrow morning for them to do an inspection of the vehicle, I’m guessing to confirm the findings of Jim Hudson Lexus, which is required before AutoNation would agree to render the only resolve acceptable by me which is to get me out of this vehicle. Well later I’m told by Larry Rivera that Colin is the only GM, however Colin himself told me he will not be there on tomorrow but I’m to ask for Kevin…..be it that Collin is the GM, but won’t be there tomorrow, my going there is for what exactly? I live in another State, and I expressed to Colin my concern for my time being wasted, traveling there for nothing. Well I reached back out to ask Collin if I needed to have someone follow me there tomorrow but according to Larry, he was not there but he gave me Collin’s email address and told me to email him and he would get the email on his phone and would respond. Well, no response, and again I’m suppose to drive there in the morning. I will give an update as this unfolds. More
Not often do I leave reviews, but this was the absolute best car buying experience I have had. Hannah took over and got me into my new 850i immediately and we were test driving before 9:30. Then I spoke to Grant, the sales manager, about my car and what I needed to see for my car. They were more than fair in the speedy negotiation and finance was a breeze. Not pushy abt options I didn’t really want, just straight up abt everything. I was out of there before noon. Highly recommend Autonation and will definitely shop with them again in the future! Thank you again to all involved. More

My engine went out on my 2016 Ford Escape and I've spent the last couple of months trying to figure out what to do next. I had settled on a newer Kia Soul model for features, gas mileage, and cost. After dealing with some predatory dealerships near me, I was burnt out. Dealerships raising the final costs the day of when I came with a cashier check for the amount they gave me. My Mom told me to look into Dealerships near her in Virginia and I accidentally set the distance further than planned. That's how I stumbled upon AutoNation USA in Charlotte NC. I was already interested in the car by then and decided to at least reach out. Dominic Compagnino was the salesperson I ended up working with. He promptly got numbers over to me and gave his word they'd hold it and keep it at what we agreed. My flight out to them was canceled while I was in NYC for the layover. Taking a last minute bus to get there at our time agreed upon, I still found myself on the wrong side of Charlotte. Dominic got in my soon to be car and picked me up. The entire process was a simple as can be. They treat their customers with respect and keep the sales pitches to a minimum, not trying to keep up selling you on things. I am thankful for them and to be in a running vehicle again. My only qualm was not getting a coffee mug, Keychain, or something! Let your customers give you free advertisement! If you're in the market for a car and want to avoid the headaches that come along with most dealers, give AutoNation a chance to prove they deserve your time. More
