Staff is always friendly. One thing I don’t agree with is the fact that they are not doing the oil change at the 5K miles but at the 10k. I bought a brand new 2023 RAV4 from this dealer and I am so happy with my SUV. Last week I had a mirror issue and the service manager fixed it by himself. My wife and I purchased a new Toyota Highlander from AutoNation Toyota Winter Park last June along with a service package. Last Friday I took it in for its second oil change at 10,000 miles. They perf AutoNation Toyota Winter Park last June along with a service package. Last Friday I took it in for its second oil change at 10,000 miles. They performed the service very quickly and got my car back in less than an hour. Unfortunately that afternoon I left to pick up my daughter from school and my wife sent me a picture of a 3 foot oil spill on my garage floor. I called AutoNation who said I would get a call back from my technician. Two hours went by with no call so I went to my local mechanic. He put the car on a lift and called me back to show me that the drain plug for the oil was never tightened and was wiggling like a loose tooth ready to fall out. Then he also showed me that despite leaking several quarts of oil there was still too much oil in the car which could do damage. I called AutoNation back and asked for the service manager. I was told he was in a meeting and couldn’t talk, so I drove back to AutoNation to get my oil change redone. At first they came out and tried to tell me the oil was fine. Then the service manager came out and apologized and redid the oil change. My paver driveway is also ruined by the oil, and the service manager was kind to give me his card and asked me to send him pictures of the driveway presumably so they could come out and clean it. Finally when I took possession of the car I walked around it and noticed that when they rotated my tires, three of the 4 caps on the air stems were never replaced. So they fixed that too. Bottom line…. I still have several prepaid oil changes with AutoNation but I guess I will just lose that money because I am never trusting them again with servicing my car. I can’t risk a $15k engine repair on their incompetence. Seriously folks, get it together. What if I was an older person who doesn’t park in a garage to notice the oil slick? It would have cost me my mobility for a long time. Shame on you. More
