Brought my Corolla to dealer for an airbag warning light that stayed on. Cost me $119 for a diagnostic and I asked for a full four-point inspection. They later quoted me over $1000 parts/labor for full “air that stayed on. Cost me $119 for a diagnostic and I asked for a full four-point inspection. They later quoted me over $1000 parts/labor for full “airbag assembly”replacement. Took it right after to a local mechanic shop and the very same day they found the issue was with the battery/terminals not supplying steady voltage to the airbag, tripping error codes and causing airbag light to turn on. They replaced the battery and terminals, fixing it for a third of the price! Very disappointed with the dealer since their full inspection report notes the battery was in good condition. It makes me wonder if the rest of their inspection could be trusted and if their mechanics were actually doing their jobs. Would have rated 1-star, but toyota rep was very courteous and didn’t try to pressure me to pay. More

I went for oil/tire rotation...I showed up at 9am, however, my bad made appt for wrong Toyota location. They were gracious to fit me in, cool. Said it would be 3 hours-okay, I was willing to wait. The manager Romy offered a car rental and I could come back at end of day. I said I didn't mind waiting....He said take the rental might be longer. Okay this was 9:15am....did not get into rental until 11:15am-that was aggravating to say the least-why not just finish the car and get me on my way? Per their text car is done, I arrive at 5:00 pm Valet person brings the car around....the car went through the car wash, but was not detailed, not cleaned inside, and gas not filled up. Mind you the car is pretty clean (no kids etc). A very aggravating experience overall x 2. The staff was courteous, for sure. But there seems to be a breakdown in communications, and lack of coordination amongst the different departments (service, greeter, advisor, rental, valet etc). More
