AutoNation Toyota Winter Park - Service Center

I had a significantly disappointing experience with the service department at AutoNation Toyota of Winter Park. Upon investigation by another Toyota dealership, it was discovered that a camshaft cover, a part previously replaced by AutoNation Toyota of Winter Park, was either improperly sealed or not sealed at all. When I presented this evidence, confirming their prior work on this specific part, to General Manager Nick Oliver, he ceased all communication. Despite the low mileage driven since the initial service, Mr. Oliver declined to address the issue, basing his refusal solely on the elapsed time beyond their 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty. This lack of accountability for what appears to be faulty workmanship, especially given the clear evidence of their prior involvement with the now leaking part, is deeply concerning. This experience raises serious concerns about the overall quality and reliability of the service work performed by AutoNation Toyota of Winter Park. The fact that a previously replaced part was found to be improperly installed or not sealed at all, leading to a repeat failure within a low mileage period, suggests a fundamental lack of attention to detail or competence within their service department. This isn't just about warranty adherence; it speaks to the potential for substandard repairs that could lead to further issues and expenses down the line for customers entrusting their vehicles to this dealership. I was in for a fifty thousand mile check up on my Camry yesterday and as always was extremely happy that I brought it to AutoNation Toyota of Winter Park! They have no pressure of trying to sell you a lot yesterday and as always was extremely happy that I brought it to AutoNation Toyota of Winter Park! They have no pressure of trying to sell you a lot of things that you probably don’t need and text you while you’re waiting of a list with everything that they recommend should be done and the price of the stuff. I guess you might be able to find of the products and labor cheaper but the convenience and no pressure in my opinion is worth it. I will definitely be back when my car needs to be serviced again.
