This was my first time to bring in my 2012 Toyota Camry. Ozzie came out and greeted me, took all my info and then showed me around the lobby where I waited. It was only an hr and I found the complimentary coffee, popcorn, movie a special treat to make the time go by faster. This was a great experience. I coordinated the purchase of my vehicle over the internet. Brent Dillingham was honest and worked hard to meet my needs, but was not fully aware of the specifics with respect to rebates and how the internet. Once our processes switched to the Finance department that was where the experience went down hill fast. Fred Robinson, while stating he had years of experience, made three errors on the contract which had to be corrected by South East Toyota (SET). Further, he advised that we would receive the title from SET to register the vehicle when in truth the dealership had it all along and delayed our vehicle registration by three weeks. When we would call either Mr. Robinson or the Finance Director, Chafik Amrani, they were unprofessional and rude placing the blame on us. The dealership states that they "support and appreciate the military and all we do", but that is used as a means to get the military business because in the end they treat you no different. Additionally, Mr. Robinson is unaware of details regarding financing vehicles. During my nearly two hours with him in his office I specifically asked if there were any prepayment penalties if I was to pay off the loan early. He passed on that if the loan was paid off before 30 days there would be, but after 30 days - no penalty. I called SET after the one month period to get my payoff amount and noted a big difference between what was now due as compared to what was financed just over a month ago. The SET Finance rep told me that there was a $75 prepayment penalty since I was paying off the loan before the 6 month time frame. This information was never passed on to me even after specifically asking the question. Bottom line: If you don't know the answer, or aren't sure, find out before you mis-advise customers. All we wanted was a fair price and a smooth hassle free car purchasing process, Courtesy Toyota failed to deliver. We do not recommend this dealership. More
Everyone is friendly and efficient. My problem was AC and loose brake. Only needed freon and brake fluid. Fluids used to be included in regular required service checks. Ozzie Perez did a good job of explaining everything to me, offering me options and giving me an accurate estimate of time and costs. I also loved being able to go home in the Courtesy van and not have to sit at the dealership all day. The two Courtesy van drivers, Felix and ?, were also first rate. They were good drivers, courteous and I felt at ease with both of them. Even the attendants who first greeted me at the entrance of the shop were friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. The work was completed as expected and although it's only been a few hours, I think it was done satisfactorily. I don't know much about cars! That's why I come to you. I feel I can trust your staff.
