The building is very clean and has a nice coffee machine as well as a snack bar and movie theater. Several salesman were excellent and really went the extra mile for me. I had a significantly disappointing experience with the service department at AutoNation Toyota of Winter Park. Approximately three years and under 10,000 miles after a valve cover gasket replacement, a su service department at AutoNation Toyota of Winter Park. Approximately three years and under 10,000 miles after a valve cover gasket replacement, a subsequent oil leak occurred. Upon investigation by another Toyota dealership, it was discovered that a camshaft cover, a part previously replaced by AutoNation Toyota of Winter Park, was either improperly sealed or not sealed at all. When I presented this evidence, confirming their prior work on this specific part, to General Manager Nick Oliver, he ceased all communication. Despite the low mileage driven since the initial service, Mr. Oliver declined to address the issue, basing his refusal solely on the elapsed time beyond their 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty. This lack of accountability for what appears to be faulty workmanship, especially given the clear evidence of their prior involvement with the now leaking part, is deeply concerning. This experience raises serious concerns about the overall quality and reliability of the service work performed by AutoNation Toyota of Winter Park. The fact that a previously replaced part was found to be improperly installed or not sealed at all, leading to a repeat failure within a low mileage period, suggests a fundamental lack of attention to detail or competence within their service department. This isn't just about warranty adherence; it speaks to the potential for substandard repairs that could lead to further issues and expenses down the line for customers entrusting their vehicles to this dealership. The sales experience was great, but the ability not to waive a second dealer fee cost you an additional sale. The service department was not very good, they missed a lot items and the truck was fairly dirty on the inside. No mats came with the vehicle, and I have never seen this before in 50 years of driving. More
