I have Chris Montalbano as my service advisor. He is very professional. I'm always informed if maintenance is within my warranties so I avoid the horror stories others have told me about a dealers He is very professional. I'm always informed if maintenance is within my warranties so I avoid the horror stories others have told me about a dealership trying to charge them for something that's covered. They always let me know when certain components are wearing down. For example, 2 services back, Chris informed me the millimeter depth of my brake pads and when he estimates I'll need to replace them and what it will cost so I could be prepared. My average wait time for my basic services is about 1-2 hours which is good in my book because they're usually very busy and I've waited much longer with other shops. They also have TV and vending machines in the lobby so the wait is pleasant and they always come find me in the lobby to inform me as soon as the service is completed and if I'm not there, they call me. The valet does a great job keeping eyes on your keys so there aren't any mix ups when trying to have your vehicle brought back to you from the shop. AutoNation Toyota has provided me with the greatest experience I've ever had when dealing with services and maintenance. I actually feel at peace knowing I can leave my vehicle in the hands of their mechanics and that really means alot to me. More
The service was fine. A two and half hour wait for a tire rotation and visual inspection (no fluids changed) WITH an appointment, is crazy! Once I was finished, the inattentive "valet" (after handing him my paperwork, he continued his conversation with his coworker for several more minutes before strolling to the back lot to get my car), retrieved my car, drove up and exited the car, without so much as a nod to me to indicate I was ready to go. If it weren't for the bird poop still on the hood of the car (no car wash here, I guess), I wouldn't have been sure it was my car (white Rav4s are abundant in the service area). I'll make the drive out to Larry Miller Toyota in Peoria next time for service, it's a long drive for me but at least they treat the customers like they care. More
