My 2005 Highlander required engine maintenance per the display on the dash. Made an appointment, requesting that specifically. Went in and service ticket was written addressing 'engine check' light. Waite display on the dash. Made an appointment, requesting that specifically. Went in and service ticket was written addressing 'engine check' light. Waited while work being done but checked status with service advisor after 2.5 hours. Found out that the car was undergoing a diagnostic check instead. Corrected service advisor and spoke with service manager, who assured me that he would look into it. End result -- only oil and filter change were required and it was completed within another half hour. Satisfied but will be very careful to communicate exactly what service is needed next time. More
