Just wanted to share an update...for those of you possibly considering doing business with this dealership. I called the number provided in the dealers response, and was denied the opportunity to speak with the GM. I was transferred to a sales manager instead, David, who tried to assure me he understood and sympathized with my concern. He said he was not aware that Toyota has a known issue with their 2nd gen Tundra stereos....even though it is a known issue discussed all over Tundra forums and confirmed with other local Toyota dealers. David told me he would make sure the finance department would call me back to discuss a solution regarding the Platinum warranty that I purchased with the vehicle (but have been denied claims TWICE now). Two weeks have now passed...still no return call. PLEASE BE CAREFUL PEOPLE...Autonation warranties ARE A SCAM, and they will clearly do everything in their power to deny a claim...even claims that are pre-approved. Shame on you Autonation...you clearly have forgotten the value of integrity.
