First service on my new Tundra. Top of the cab of the truck was damaged at the dealership during service. Looks like it was hit while being lifted, or a heavy tool was dropped on it Top of the cab of the truck was damaged at the dealership during service. Looks like it was hit while being lifted, or a heavy tool was dropped on it. Dealership argues that the damage was there before being serviced because there was rust under the ding. Not true. Obviously, fresh damage, dinged, paint cracked, but not lifted. Service Manager chipped back the paint and made the damage worse. I asked to speak to the GM and was told he was in a meeting. That was two days ago. Still haven’t heard back from anyone. I want to know why there is rust under my paint. I wouldn’t have seen the rust if my truck had not been damaged. Is there more rust. It’s near the back window. Is there a leak?How did rust get there? At the least, I believe the damage cause by the service manager, when he chipped away the paint, needs to be repaired. More
Inconvenient experience. First time that I serviced my new truck. Service scheduler couldn’t tell me the policy around a rental car while my truck was being worked on. I left a vm for the advisor, but he never returned my call. My truck had 6 recalls, and I was charged $49 for a rental car for the day because it wasn’t deemed a safety issue. Parts had to be ordered and so now I have to schedule another visit. On top of that, they don’t even wash your car! It’s not the money that’s the issue. It’s the fact that after spending 70k+ on a vehicle, they expect loyalty on the service, but there’s just no convenience factor. I spent $49 plus a couple of hours of my day to be told that the issues were recall related and that I needed to go back once the part was in. More

4-3-23 Walked in, guy in sales department (some kind of lead) was berating and cussing at people at the online sales desks. Met with Liam, signed paperwork for truck. Was told 4-6 weeks for truck delivery. 5-27-23 Placed call to dealership to inquire about truck delivery date, fed line of xxxxxxxx, nobody had my account as my sales rep had either quit or been fired 6-21-23 Called again for update, no straight answer 7-2-23 recieved E-mail from 'Neil Underwood' about my experience at tempe toyota, left a scathing email about poor communication and lack of answers, called dealership to inquire again. Spoke with 'Nick' and Parker, Parker absorbed my account and alerted the sales manager to my woes 7-5-23 Recieved texts from a 'David Cole' (sales manager) said he would pull my file and call me, never recieved call from him, but did get a call from Emily (also sales manager) and got someinformation as to the delivery progress. Was sitting in the bay waiting for arrival inspection. 7-11-23 Recieved automated email from Parker asking if i was still looking at the tacoma that i already put a deposit down on, contacted Emily to see what was going on and why. Told me Parker would be my sole contact for the sale. 7-31-23 Recieved text from 'Kylee' stating that my truck was in their posession and would be able to pick it up that day, opted to wait til 8-1 to pick up 8-1-23 Picked up Tacoma, truck was filthy on arrival, parker told me they would clean it while we filled out paperwork. Was also told they hadnt tinted the windows yet, and someone would be in contact to schedule an appointment to get it done. There was miscommunication about the features of the Truck, shrugged it off because i was tired of the hassle. 8-15-23 Dust storm revealed leftover adhesive from plastic wrap that the truck was shipped with, couldnt remove it by carwash or pressure washer. 8-27-23 Recieved automated email from Parker, replied inquiring about the tint. Didnt recieve a response. 9-7-23 Emailed parker again asking about the tint, emails returned saying undeliverable. Parker quit/fired. 9-17-23 Emailed Emily about adhesive and tint, told me to come in next day to have it all taken care of. 9-18-23 Dropped truck off in AM, picked up around 2pm. On the drive home, i noticed bubbles on the edges of the tint on driver side front and rear door, streaks of fluid on the interior panel of driver and passanger door. It was also noted that there was still adhesive on the driver side rear quarter panel. More
