Jerry "MJ" Chief is a rare car salesman. When I first met him last week, I asked him a few questions to learn what type of car salesman I was dealing with. As he answered my questions about the used 2011 Toyota Prius I was considering, he impressed me with his knowledge of the car, and his consultative manner. I later brought my daughter in to test drive the Prius, and he was absolutely gracious to her. He treated her like an adult, and not like some dumb girl whose Dad had dragged her into a dealership. Tony Fuller stayed until 10:30pm the other night to work with me on the financing for the car. His advice came across genuine and he worked with me on my financing rate and timeline in order to fit the deal into my parameters. My only concern was that there were a few things that I would have thought the 125-point Autonation used car checklist would have caught (a burned-out bulb, heavily oxidized front headlights, etc.). But I brought these things to Jerry's attention and he had them taken care, no questions asked. Some before the sale was complete and two items today, 24 hours after we'd taken possession of the car. So, based on my experience, I'd say these gentlemen are pros. They know their product. They are genuine and sincere. BOTTOM LINE: I would consider buying a car from MJ and Tony at Tempe Toyota again! Isabella worked for 3 months to get us the car we wanted and kept us informed of the progress, as my husband had very specific parameters for our requested Prius V. We were pleasantly surprised at the speed with which our session with the finance specialist went and the lack of pressure to do more than we wanted. This is a difference from the same experience 3 years ago when it was Power Toyota. Our daughter recently bought a Prius C from this same dealership and had a similar positive experience. More

For me, car buying is usually a very stressful experience. After my Santa Fe died a premature death due to total incompetence at JC Auto Repair, I was less than happy about having to buy a new ca experience. So let's just say that I wasn't really looking forward to car shopping. But then we met Laurence Bautista at AutoNation Toyota in Tempe. I can truly and honestly say I have never been more impressed with a sales person in my life - and I've bought plenty of cars over the years. No matter how many questions we asked, or how long it took us to decide, he was patient, understanding and more importantly - he was extremely professional. He gave us honest opinions between our choices - even when the better choice was a used vehicle. He went out of his way to stay with us through the entire process - from walking on the lot, through to the next day when financing was complete. He taught us how to use our Prius (like learning to drive all over again!) and even helped us clean out the Santa Fe, as we had just brought it over from JC. Laurence went above and beyond to take care of us, and I will never forget his courtesy and kindness. I do not make recommendations lightly and I could not recommend this gentleman enough to purchase a vehicle from.
