They put me twice on hold for more than 30 minutes without even notifying the right person I needed to talk to. I already bought a RAV 4 SUV on 9/11 and return it back same day for some issue I experienced. They promised to find me another similar car with similar features. They sold my car the following day without finding me a replacement one. Even though they told me that the deal stopped same day I returned the car, I got a call from the dealership finance asking me to check car VIN number!! Not only that, I am receiving invoices from Toyota to pay my loan that I do not have. Can you believe that?! My advise to you ... Stay away from AutoNation Toyota Scion Tempe. They are disaster! More

I purchased a car June 11, 2020. They didn’t even send my registration in until July 3!! Nobody cares to help. I have no registration, no title and cannot drive since temporary license is expired!! Lied to me. Sold me a car said, Car was Certified, had problems with car then found out car wasn't certified. I purchased a used Prius last year here, and was sold a $2855 Gold Vehicle Protection Plan in Sales, as this was a hybrid and this plan would cover us from, I quote, "all of the electrical issues that can arise." Well, today I brought my vehicle in for my first ever claim, my headlight is flashing, and was told by the Service Manager Tommy that they would start by charging me $69 for a diagnostic fee, then over $300 to determine if it was a bulb - I had to buy a bulb for them to test it! LOL After doing a bit of research, this is actually a factory recall - they told me none of that. Really?! So very deceitful. So sorry management said, quote, "Guess you should have bought the Platinum Plan." This afternoon I brought vehicle to a reputable mechanic, it is not the bulb, but the ballast headlight control unit. Never again will I buy or service any vehicle at AutoNation Toyota Tempe. Stay away! More

The one individual that made our experience so exceptional was our sales person, Amy Riggs. She was knowledgeable about all the cars we looked at and answered our numerous questions with expertise and patience. She went above and beyond to explain everything regarding the buying process, as well as giving us a detailed explanation of all the particulars of the new hybrid we decided to pursue. Amy streamlined the process for us because she knew we were on time a strict time constraint, and she facilitated the trade in of our old vehicle. We could not have asked for a smoother car buying experience, and we would definitely recommend that anyone looking to buy a Toyota should head over to AutoNation Toyota in Tempe and find Amy Riggs for an amazing experience! Totally dishonest place to buy car from. It's all about how you finish - Thank you Fabio My family has a history with AutoNation that goes back to 1997, and it has not been a traditionally favorable relationship. Unfortunately, my initial experience with AutoNation Toyota Tempe was trending the same way. But it is not how you start it is how you finish, and the team, especially Fabio Ledonne, finished strong. There were issues from the moment we bought the car, and the team at Toyota Tempe, put up with a demanding sometimes irate customer well. It went from hopeless to a great experience when Fabio stepped in. The issue that faced us was a body damage issue from the previous owner. The original dealership did a “Fix” and when it didn’t hold up over the first month, blamed us for the issue. That didn’t sit right with Fabio, he wasn’t discounting what the other store told him, but he also listened and heard the concerns we had as Prius drivers for a number of years. He listened to his gut and went to work finding a solution, and it wasn’t a conventional one. His unconventional solution was one that not only saved the sale, and the relationship with us, but turned me into an advocate for Toyota Tempe. This was a month ago, and I have already pointed 3 different people to Toyota Tempe, specifically telling them to ask for Fabio. Thank you Fabio and the team over at Toyota Tempe. More
