I come back year after year to AutoNation Toyota for my car maintenance because they always do a good job here. The experience was a long one but they helped me get a pretty good rate with fair credit. They also gave me a good deal on my trade in which I was upside down on. I’m annoyed though, I asked the salesman if the 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan I was buying needed premium gas and he told me no. Come to find out, it does! It’s important to use premium gas if the vehicle is supposed to use it. I don’t know if the previous owner used premium and if not what damage may have already been done. I feel like I was lied to and would expect a salesman, who’s been in car sales for over 20 years, would know that. It’s been over a week now since I bought the car and I haven’t gotten any correspondence yet on how to make my payments. I was given a 3 month or 4K mile warranty which I was happy about though. I would probably go back for my next car but would be more cautious about the answers to my questions. Had I known about needing to use premium gas I probably would have kept looking for a different vehicle. More

First visit here the service advisor attempted to sell me service my vehicle does not need prior to my vehicle even being looked at. (Services were not needed after inspection) Tech who preformed oil chang service my vehicle does not need prior to my vehicle even being looked at. (Services were not needed after inspection) Tech who preformed oil change spilled a large amounts of oil on my skid plate and did not clean up. I brought it in without drop of oil and received it back covered in oil. This is very upsetting and unprofessional in my opinion.
