The truck was what I wanted. However the tires were near balding and something I would not sell and consider safe. I asked the salesman Mark Escobedo to include a set of tires in the deal. He photographed the tires on the truck so he could “get the same ones”. We went up the road to see another vehicle and within 10 minutes of leaving the dealership he messaged to say they would give us 4 new tires and the fuel filter change I asked for. We agreed and came back to the dealership. Eric in financing was amazing and even provided a much better rate than initially discussed. The deal was closed and next was to schedule for the new tires. Day of the team put on some cheap Dunlop tires. When I called Mark to ask he said “I got you 4 new tires, right?” They leaned on the fact that the paperwork did not specify the brand and model even after Mark had promised delivery of the pirelli brand. I asked to speak to Mark’s supervisor and got the run around and no call back. I contacted the general manager of the dealership Mr Phil Cash hoping a little top pressure may result in action. Nothing from him or his team and it had been a week. No return calls or emails. The car was fair priced, the finance department was stellar. But it is beyond evident that integrity and follow through are not a top tenets of the sale team including Mark Escobedo, David Cole or Phil Cash after a purchase. I would not recommend this experience to anyone else. Perhaps have the car shipped to a different AUTONATION instead. More
